You are one of pure hard work with no family ties that grant you any natural advantages or benefits. At 1st Level Select any 1 Skill. You gain proficiency in the chosen skill. If you are already proficient in those Skills, you may treat them as if you are an expert, you may add double your Proficiency bonus to them. You may select another skill at 7th and 15th level.

"Unrelenting Focus"

In your quest for greatness, you have achieved what your allies have not additional talents that takes potentially years of extra training that those who are born in a clan do not have the time to commit to. At 1st Level you gain an additional Feat of your choice. You may gain additional feats at 3rd, 7th, 11th, and 15th levels.

"Nindo"

This Nindo is one of perseverance. The first time you are reduced to 0 Hit points, you are instead reduced to 1 Hit point. You cannot go below this 1 hit point until the end of your next turn. When you fall unconscious or enter the dying condition, You roll your Constitution saving throws at advantage.

Class Features:

"Chakra Recovery"

Starting at 1st level, you have learned to retain some spent chakra from Casting Ninjutsu. Once per short rest, you may half the cost of any one Ninjutsu cast. You gain an additional use of this feature at 6th, 11th & 17th levels of Ninjutsu Specialist

"Refined Ninjutsu"

Also, at 1st level, you can select an amount of Ninjutsu that you know equal to the number shown for Refined Jutsu in the class table above, increasing the Save DC or the amount of either damage done by the chosen jutsu by 1 die. This feature happens once per casting of the Refined Jutsu. You choose which benefit you gain each time you cast the jutsu, but before the jutsu would affect a creature. You can change your Refined Ninjutsu when you would take a long rest. At 9th level, you increase the Save DC or die by 2 instead of 1, and at 17th level, you increase Save DC or die by 3 instead of 2.

"Subclass Feature: Lightning Release"

When you choose this tradition at 2nd level, you gain the ability to learn ninjutsu with the Lightning Release Keyword. If you can already do this you learn 2 additional Lightning Release ninjutsu that you qualify for, one of which can be C-Rank or lower. You also gain advantage on all Ninshou checks related to ninjutsu with the Lightning Release keyword and you can learn and create Ninjutsu with the Lightning Release Keyword in half the required time.Finally, when you cast a ninjutsu with the Lightning Release keyword, you can do one of the following, once per casting; • Gain 1d4 bonus to attack rolls. • Reduce the cost of the next Ninjutsu cast before the beginning of your next turn with the Lightning Release keyword by 1d4.

"Subclass Feature: Lightning Adept"

Also, at 2nd Level, you have adapted to lightning release chakra in such a way that others who would tap into this nature would come to you for teachings .Once per turn, when you would cast a jutsu with the Lightning Release keyword, you can charge yourself with a Lightning Mote. A lightning mote remains charged for up to 1 minute, or until spent. You can have up to 5 motes charged at once. When you would cast a jutsu with the Lightning Release keyword you can spend any number of motes. If you do you cannot gain a mote the turn you do. For each mote spent, you increase the potency of your Jutsu cast. Select from one of the following, of which you can only use one of when spending motes; • Increase the damage dealt by +3 for each mote spent. This bonus damage doubles on a critical hit. • If a jutsu would normally not deal damage when cast, you add 1d8 lightning damage for each mote spent. • Reduce the cost to maintain the jutsu by 1 for every 2 motes spent

"Efficient Molding"

Starting at 3rd Level, you learn how to bend your chakra to suit your needs while casting Ninjutsu. You gain two of the following Efficient Molding options of your choice.You gain another one at 5th, 9th, 13th and 18th Ninjutsu specialist levels. You can only use one Efficient Molding option on a Ninjutsu when you cast it, unless otherwise noted. You can use any combination of efficient moldings you have 2 times per rest. You gain an additional use of your moldings at 9th, and 15th levels. If you would use a molding any additional times more than your listed limitation, you must spend chakra listed as the Alternate cost. PRECISE NINJUTSU Alternate Cost: 3 Chakra When you cast a Ninjutsu that requires an attack roll, you can gain advantage on one of the attacks. You can spend an additional use of this feature or spend its alternate cost to make any additional attacks at advantage PIERCING NINJUTSU Alternate Cost: 5 Chakra You cast a jutsu that pierces through a creature’s defenses. When you cast a Ninjutsu that deals damage, you cause the jutsu you are casting to ignore resistance, and temporary hit points until the end of your turn. Creatures that are normally Immune to the damage your jutsu deals, you instead treat their immunity as resistance. You can use this molding in addition to any other moldings you are using. CAREFUL NINJUTSU Alternate Cost: 5 Chakra When you cast a Ninjutsu that forces other creatures to make a saving throw, you can protect some creatures from the Jutsu’s full force. Select up to 3 creatures. A chosen creature suffers no effect from your casted Ninjutsu. You can spend an additional use of this feature or spend its alternate cost to select another 3 creatures.

"Jutsu Breaker"

Beginning at 5th Level, you learn how to overwhelm your opponent’s jutsu with pure force. When you would see a creature within 90 feet of you cast a Ninjutsu that would deal damage of any type, you may as a reaction cast a Ninjutsu you know with a casting time of 1 action. When you do, if the jutsu you cast doesn’t have the clash keyword it gains the clash keyword. You automatically initiate a clash with the triggering creatures jutsu even if their jutsu doesn’t have the clash keyword. You may use this feature twice per rest. You gain an additional use of this feature at 11th and 17th level.

Drawback: You cannot learn Jutsu of C-Rank or lower through Downtime.

Feats:

"Chakra Pressure"

You have a very powerful Chakra aura. You gain the following
benefits:
• Increase your constitution score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
• Select between; Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, Taijutsu or Bukijutsu.
Jutsu you use that have one of the aforementioned
keywords, that require a creature make a Saving throw,
cannot add Jutsu based bonuses to their save unless the
jutsu granting the bonus is of a rank higher than the jutsu
you originally cast.
• Your chakra is heavy and carries a weight unlike any
other. Jutsu you cast with the chakra molding (CM)
component, that summons a creature, construct or object
with hit points or temporary hit points. That creature,
construct or object gains a number of additional hit points
equal to twice your constitution modifier (min 2.)
• Your chakra-based constructs are more difficult for
enemies to disrupt or dispel. When a creature would
attempt to interrupt or dispel a jutsu or feature you cast
that would summon a creature, construct or object with hit
points or temporary hit points, increase their DC to do so
by +2.

"Quick Witted"

Great ideas come to you naturally, often when your life depends on it. You always have a plan, or at least parts of it. You gain the following benefits:

  • Increase the Intelligence ability score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
  • You can use your Intelligence modifier instead of your Dexterity modifier when making Initiative checks.
  • When you would make a Dexterity saving throw, you can instead make an Intelligence saving throw. You can use this effect twice per long rest.

 

"Fanatic"


Every blow that hits your enemies make you feel closer to
victory, making you shake in excitement. You gain the
following benefits:
• Allied creatures within 20 feet of you gain a +1 bonus to
their critical threat range so long as they do not have any
bonuses to their critical threat range due to another
Critical Feat.
• When you or an allied creature score a critical hit on a
creature that reduces their hit points to 0, you gain the
Fanatics Rush special action. You can gain this special
action, once per round.
• Fanatics Rush. On your turn, you can take this special
action to regain 1d6+your proficiency bonus hit
points and make one weapon attack.

When you cast this jutsu, as a bonus action or reaction, you can overcharge its effects. Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: C-Rank Casting Time: 1 Action Range: 100 Feet Duration: Concentration, Up to 1 minute Components: HS, CM Cost: 9 Chakra Keywords: Lightning Release, Ninjutsu Description: You extend both of your hands into the air, releasing a mass of Lightning chakra into the sky creating thunder clouds. As an action on your turn, you can select a space within range that you can see, Lightning Strikes the area. All creatures within 5 feet of the target space must make a Dexterity Saving throw taking 3d10 Lightning Damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one. A creature can only be affected by one lightning strike at a time. Overcharge. When you cast this jutsu, as a bonus action or reaction, you can overcharge its effects. When you do, a creature who fails their saving throw has their legs begins to seize up on them, reducing their walking speed to 5 feet, bringing it to a crawl, until the end of their next turn. Make a Ranged Ninjutsu attack against a creature within range. On a success they take lightning damage equal to 4d8+ your Ninjutsu Ability Modifier. Additionally, the target must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save they become shocked until the end of their next turn. If a target is already shocked, you make your attack roll at advantage and ignore cover as the lightning beast zig zags across the field to get the best vantage to attack. Overcharge. When you cast this jutsu, as a bonus action or reaction, you can overcharge its effects. When you do, select a second creature to target with this jutsu. "Lightning Release: Lightning Rod"

Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: C-Rank Casting Time: 1 Action Range: Self Duration: Concentration, up to 1 minute Components: HS, CM Cost: 9 Chakra Keywords: Lightning Release, Ninjutsu Description: You conjure your lightning release chakra creating a lightning release construct lance, staff or polearm of your description. This construct polearm has a reach of 10 feet, the trip, deadly and thrown (90/120) properties. For the duration of this jutsu you do not need to spend chakra to maintain concentration on this jutsu. While wielding this construct polearm you gain the following options using the corresponding actions; Action: Make a Melee Ninjutsu attack dealing 4d10 lightning damage on a hit. Action: Make a Ranged Ninjutsu attack, throwing the lance targeting a creature you can see, within throwing range, dealing lightning damage equal to 5d6 + Ninjutsu ability modifier. Regardless of a hit or miss, the lance then explodes, creatures within 20 feet of the target must make a Dexterity saving throw, taking 3d8 lightning damage on a failed save or half as much on a successful save. The Jutsu then ends. Bonus Action: You compress your polearm into its most basic form using it to supercharge the next jutsu you cast with the Lightning Release Keyword before the end of your turn. The next jutsu you cast with the Lightning Release Keyword that has a casting time of 1 Action has its cost reduced by half and deals additional damage equal to your Ninjutsu ability modifier. to generate a spark of willpower from within a creature.

they gain an additional Bonus action. Overcharge.When you cast this jutsu with its listed casting
time, you can choose to spend your Bonus Action or
Reaction to overcharge its effects. When you do, increase the
die used to determine temporary hit points, by 1 step. At Higher Ranks: For each rank you cast this jutsu above
C-Rank, increase the cost of this jutsu by 3, temporary Hit

"Lightning Release: Static Falcon"

Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: C-Rank Casting Time: 1 Action Range: 120 Feet (15 Foot Cube) Duration: Instant Components: HS, CM Cost: 7 Chakra Keywords: Lightning Release, Ninjutsu Description: You generate a mass of Lightning chakra and release it in the form of a bird. This bird then flies towards a target creature you can see within range, before it explodes, discharging electricity in a 15-foot cube with a loud thunderous boom. This thunderous boom can be heard up to 300 feet away. Creatures in the affected area must make a constitution save, taking 6d6 Lightning damage and being shocked on a failed save, and half as much on a successful save. Overcharge. When you cast this jutsu, as a bonus action or reaction, you can overcharge its effects. When you do a creature shocked by this jutsu must make a Constitution (Chakra control) check at the start of each of their turns for the duration of the shocked condition, or be unable to move more than 5 feet on their turns. He didn't possess any shinobi skills, but he did have a talent for fishing, skill with numbers, and more importantly, the will to thrive in a new environment. Within just 20 years, he had made a fortune as the owner of a thriving fishery. Noviks' father was very much the same, no talent as a shinobi, but had the brains and drive to become a great businessman. Novik however, was different. He had the same intelligence that his father and grandfather possessed, but unlike the two of them, he actually had potential as a shinobi, so he trained at the academy instead of learning how to carry on the family business. And while he inherited their ambitions, his goal had nothing to do with business and was entirely focused on what he perceived as a slight to his family. While his family wasn't directly disrespected, Novik couldn't help but notice that the young village didn't respect his family in the same way that it respected the families of the shinobi that fought in the war. The Norikov name adorned no street signs in Matsugakure, nor were there any days commemorating particularly memorable members of his family. And he knew why. It was because his family hadn't produced a single shinobi, let alone one that was venerated enough to be honored by the village. Being the first and only member of his family with shinobi talent, it fell to Novik to change this, to prove that his family was just as good as those other families. And so, he resolved to become the Ororakage, believing that it would force the village to acknowledge that the Norikovs were as worthy of veneration as the other families. Novik started working to prove himself while in the academy, pushing himself to be at the head of his class, but he didn't stop there. Upon graduation, he applied for an internship to work under the Ororakage and managed to win a job in the administration thanks to his impressive intelligence and exam scores. Novik is confident that with his intelligence and the opportunity to learn from the Ororakage, it'll only be a matter of time until he proves himself to the village. Though that proving seems to be taking quite a bit of time, if one was to ask Novik about it. Additionally, Novik has a particular bar in the village that he frequents after work. It's not the best or most popular bar in Matsugakure, which suits his purposes just fine. He doesn't go there to socialize (in fact, the reason he chose said bar is because it's unlikely for any of his coworkers or former classmates to be there), he goes there for their sake, either to take the edge off after work or to drown a shitty day with alcohol.
