The Newest Paper: Catch & Release
Our Daughter Might be Missing; Please Investigate

An elderly elven couple writes to their granddaughter weekly and she's always written back within a week. Today marks the third week that they have not received a letter after she went said she'd be visiting a small fishing village along the northern shore of Navel Lake. This little village isn't even named on most maps.

While she is capable - or so the grandparents claim - they've been worried about her. Her letters have never taken this long. What is assumed to be doddering affection may turn out to be more. Especially considering that the lone freelancer sent to investigate last week hasn't returned...

The Finest Paper: The Epicurious Journey
Interesting Bodyguards and Traveling Companions Requested

Lord Price of Strigiðæ has planned a business-pleasure trip around eastern Stanez, heading south through Orc territory and Silvercast before returning to the coast. He has three places in mind: The Scarlet Oak Distillery, Verdigris Visions Coffee, Tea, & Chocolatier, and The Old Sprout Beanery in that order. It is a trip that will inevitably cross unpatrolled land and rough terrain. Lord Price wishes to hire Apprentices and Freelancers as lackeys for the trip.

He promises twice the standard pay (notable, as you get paid by the guild either way!) and all meals at all three locations paid for.

The Longest Paper: Sins of my Sons
Ransom Delivery Needed

An anonymous noble has written a lengthy diatribe about his three sons and how their strange habits have gotten them in trouble. It seems that his oldest son has a penchant for boasting and brawling. His middle son? A bit too saucy. And his third son is both exceedingly good at card games but incredibly unlucky at dice games.

Complete with surprisingly competent charcoal illustrations of the events, the noble has written at length of what happened. It seems that his first son was not actually able to defeat five elves in wrestling at the same time. The second proved that curtains are not a proper hiding spot when spurned lovers - yes, plural! - are after you. The third seems to find dice more enjoyable than cards!

The noble is asking for a party of escorts to meet with him for more details and then truck the ransom to a group of bandits that have been formed almost specifically to mete out the debts his sons have accrued.

While it seems that it might be a rescue mission full of dangerous thugs, the noble has assured the guild that the job will require no violence.
