Detailed Description

Please read the Essential Rules before doing anything else :)

  1. What's new in this game
  2. Oh wait you only used 2 actions, what do you want to do with your 3rd?
  3. Shroom | HP 14/18 | AC 17 | Speed 30' Condition channeling Cooldowns none Durations Timber Sentinel 7/10HP 8/10rounds Exploration Activity Repeat a Spell (Timber Sentinel) Hrroo'om watches around the corner as the beatings continue. 'This doll does not understand play...' He steps out and causes another large snowball to fall on the doll. "My Shieldcap can only help you if you stand within its reach!" he instructs his companions. Actions 1. Stride N, N, N, NE 2, 3. Winter's Clutch (origin point is the NE corner of the square the doll's token is in, so it'll hit the doll and horsey) DC17 basic Reflex Cold damage
  4. Drizzle's attack misses, while Tulki's hits quite solidly. Ruth is able to deduce that the doll is - and, considering its behavior, the soul is probably that of a young girl. You can only guess at why she's attacking you, but it doesn't seem like she's about to stop. She perks up when she sees Ruth. "Oh! You're like me! C'mon, let's play!" ...however, her idea of 'play' is quite rough. Camilla Strike x3 vs Ruth - Shroom's tree takes 3 damage is up. Map
  5. Which one of the rolls is Recall Knowledge? DC is 16 so if it is the second one you pass.
  6. Action 1: Stride up to the doll. Action 2: Devise a Stratagem, free recall knowledge, assuming occultism or arcana? Roll Roll:1d20 +7
  7. I don't have the greatest bludgeoning but it is what it is.
  8. Thanks! Posted. And if anyone has bludgeoning, Tulki recommends it. He unfortunately does not do bludgeoning, because he's a scrawny kobold and it would be like pillow fighting.
  9. | HP 15/15 | AC 17 | Speed 25' Condition: None Drizzle! squeaks Tulki. Emboldened by the sight of his comrade standing alone and bearing the brunt of the eerie doll's wrath, he rushes up to help. Actions Action 1: Stride 2 squares South, 3 squares East to end up just south of the horse. Action 2: Give Drizzle a sip from Chalice (which is an action for Tulki but not for Drizzle, if I'm reading my character sheet right) Action 3: Attack the doll if possible (since she's mounted on the horse, I *think* she's in Tulki's reach and she's just depicted as being north of the horse for clarity) or the horse if that's not possible. Strike Damage on Hit Add 2 to damage if he's attacking the doll, for his Esoteric Lore, and the attack counts as magic.
  10. I rolled a 15 to hit which I'm guessing is not enough to hit, so I use hero point to reroll... Aaand that's a one.
  11. The situation rapidly became scary. The brave little kobold knew, though, that allies had his back. So he went for a whack. First he courageously put the barrel lid between himself and the enemies, then jumped in the air to deliver an overhead BONK. His mace-style shovelpick, coated in a bubble of saltwater, drizzled over the angry doll. 1 action Raise Shield 2 action Spellstrike (Briny Bolt) Spellstrike Hero Point reroll:1d20+7 Spellstrike(Briny Bolt)
  12. Being mounted doesn't change the doll's AC, but it does give her -2 on Reflex saves, which I forgot to account for. My bad. Any forced movement would move both of them. I don't know if that's the official rule, but that's what I'm gonna go with because anything else would be a headache. xp And yes, everyone started with 1 hero point.
  13. Is it more difficult to hit the doll because it's riding the horsey? Or it doesn't matter? I was going to ask a follow up question but realized I picked Briny Bolt instead of Hydraulic Push. Still for the sake of learning, how would pushing a creature on a mount, or pushing the mount itself , work? Oh yeah, do we start with a hero point? I'm gonna cook up a big Spellstrike.
  14. The doll cries out as the snowball falls upon her, while the horse looks quite tough and seems not to be affected. Predictably, the doll doesn't listen to reason. Her horse charges forward and tries to strike Drizzle, but they're a bit off-target. Horsey Stride x2 Headbutt vs Drizzle and are up. Map
  15. Shroom | HP 14/18 | AC 17 | Speed 30' Condition channeling Cooldowns none Durations Timber Sentinel 10/10HP 10/10rounds Exploration Activity Repeat a Spell (Timber Sentinel) Hrroo'om was paying far too much attention to placing his precious Shieldcap mushrooms to notice the threat in time. He side-eyes Ruth. "Arrrrrrre you okay with this?" rolls off his tongue. He turns to the doll. "Please stand down! Your toys attacked us and would not stop! We were just defending ourselves!" It looks like the doll is trying to kill them all, though, so he rallies to the defense of Drizzle, launching a massive snowball in the direction of the doll and mount. Actions Starting in the bottom left yellow space 1, 2. Winter's Clutch (centered so the northmost of the 2 western squares of the 10' burst clips the doll and mount - the persistent difficult terrain should minimally inhibit his melee allies' approach) Cold damage 3. Step (SE, so he is W of the crate, around the corner, 1 square S of the center of the yellow rectangle)
  16. "OW, owowow! Big hurty!" Drizzle yelps. Though, judging by his readiness to strike back, he mostly puts on a show. 19 to save! Take 5 damage (10/15) Fort
  17. Tulki isn't certain if this doll has any weaknesses at all... but he thinks bludgeoning damage might do the trick. The doll points at Drizzle, and he suddenly feels his life force being sapped away. Camilla Harm vs Drizzle - basic Fortitude save, DC 18 Prepare to Aid is up. You can start anywhere in the yellow area. Map
  18. Ok, posted! @Eagleheart, question. A Thaumaturge's Esoteric Lore is, if I understand, a Recall Knowledge roll like other people make to learn opponent strengths and weaknesses, it just provides additional benefits to Thaumaturges. I'm guessing Tulki's Esoteric Lore roll failed but did not critically fail. If that is the case, can he use Dubious Knowledge, which applies to Recall Knowledge checks, to learn one real and one mistaken weakness for the doll?
  19. That sucks. I am just starting to catch my baby's cold... shouldn't be as bad as a flu like you have
  20. Sorry, on it. Started my post Saturday but have been up and down with flu and brain fog.
  21. Center of the left edge of the blue rug, I suppose. And don't call it giant! Shieldcaps are sensitive about their weight. They're simply medium. ๐Ÿ˜…
