  1. Darvin tried to peer into the darkness as the doors opened. He saw one of the two become wreathed in light and added his own. With a word of power, he held the orb he had carried from Neverwinter up. A light erupted from within, shining out as the eyes gazed out into the darkness and dispelled it. "I do believe that someone asked for light." He added with a smirk as he held the light aloft to fill the room beyond. Actions/OOC Standard Action: Cast Daylight upon my crystal arcane focus.   3. Theren looked over the fight for a moment. Most were focused on the demon and the invisible dwarves. Even his fey friend continued to jump into that fight, sparing only a passing swipe at the slaad as it ambled past. Theren left them to it, instead turning his focus towards the slaad and Duncan. With the need to keep the fey bound to this place, he was left with simple spells, but he did enjoy some of them. With one such spell, he called out towards the slaad, "You know, I'd be lying if I said you were surprising. In fact, you have been predictable to the point of banality, the most surprising part of you being that you bother to show up to this little treasure hunt."   10. Theren looked around for a moment as more creatures entered the fight, including a few more invisible creatures if the fighting around Bloodaxe was anything to go by. Waving towards Bloodaxe and his fight, he called out to the fey, "Do help him with those, I'll be there in but a moment." Leaving the fey to his own fight, he turned towards the slaad facing off against Eireann. Weaving together some magic, he laced his next words as he called out, "You should leave as you were not invited to this little party. Come on, hop to it." He let the magic fly to wrack against its mind as he tried to keep his distance from both fights. As he was doing that, the fey continued to slash against the demon near Bloodaxe. A pair of slashes against it and it stepped back, using its magic to fade away and fade back in a couple dozen feet away. Actions/OOC Standard: Dissonant Whisperes against the Slaad. It needs to roll a DC 17 Wis Save. On a failure, it takes Psy damage and uses its reaction to move its speed away, so towards the South Eastern corner, and provoaking AoOs. On a success, it does not move and takes half damage. Move Action: Move north west, south west, south west, south west. Should be just north of the central lift thing.   11. Darvin looked down at his wound. It was., not too bad at the moment, but something to keep an eye on. Looking up and around, he nodded towards the others. "Yes, let's keep moving, lest we be caught here and surrounded. And keep an eye out for another underground tunnel. If that bunker outside did not have a hidden door, then it would connect around here somewhere." He added, tossing a wave towards the bunker they had past outside.   13. Darvin grunted in pain with the strike, glaring back at the duegar. He conjured another pair of magic bolts, trying to weave the bolts into the warrior's chest to create some space. Actions/OOC Standard Action: Cast Eldritch Blast at Kathnis. As a ranged attack in melee, I'll have disadvantage. But if it hits, she will be knocked back 10ft, negating any following disadvantage. Move Action: If either blast hits, I'll move back behind where Johnny is currently on the map.   15. Darvin clambered up to the top. It was not exactly a quiet trip, but hopefully they were at least past the worst of the fortifications. He tried to peer into the darkness for a moment before giving up and calling up a simple light spell, the soft light pouring out of the spellcasting orb he held aloft. "Well, that is unfortunate." He said, as their climb and presence roused the zombie ogre. As it slowly got up to attack them, he pointed his rod towards the creature, a lance of arcane energy blasting towards it. He was fine, with his suit serving well against the primitive weapons. He quickly pocketed his pistol before pulling his medical scanner free. "You said that you were poisoned by these things, a poison that made it difficult to move?" He asked, looking as much to gain information on his symptoms as confirm what he had said. He looked over his findings on his scanner with a nod. "I can give you an antitoxin, though it looks like the poison has done what it can to you. With proper care and rest, you should be fine in the morning. In the meantime, I can give you something to ease the symptoms by stimulating the muscles and clearing lactic acid. It will be fast acting, and fade similarly fast, but it should help next time we get into a fight." He offered, pulling one such booster out to show Vass before returning it to his kit. Looking around, he surveyed the others. They looked mostly fine, though hardly in tip top shape. "Perhaps we should take a few minutes. Rest, get a drink, double check our gear is ready for the next fight. We still haven't found this necromancer, so there is likely at least one more fight in here somewhere." Actions/OOC Move Action: Standard Action: I'll hit Vass with a Treat Poison option from the Medicine Skill. It won't actually fix the issue, but I should be able to provide a +4 bonus for any future rolls needed if it beats the poison's DC. Assuming that any will be needed of course. Also, it doesn't look like anyone took HP damage, but if someone did, I can work to heal that.
  17. Theren drew back in surprise as the demon thing rounded the statue to him. He had rather expected it to go after someone else, an assumption turned painfully wrong. The magic that held his fey ally in this realm flickered and started to fade before a sudden wave countered a fumble of a spell to achieve something akin to stability. Theren scrambled back and away, though, thankfully the others came to his aid, managing to bring down the demon before he could do more to the bard. Already moving, Theren found himself backing away from the fight, doing his best to avoid any further injury for the moment. The sprite had already been moving towards the fight, but seeing the demon fall, pivotied a step that took it far further than a step really should. It materialized next to the other demon before lashing out in a pair of quick strikes. Actions/OOC Edit for the sake of the demon thing dying first. Standard: Disengage because I can't stay here. I'll take the dodge action instead. Move Action: Move 30ft south, south east.   23. Damage to the walls is still covered by its plot armor. You would be better off using wall of stone to make a door stopper if you really want to relock the place up.
  24. My understanding was that the walls were protected by plot armor for the sake of high level spells like passwall/disintegrate/stone shape/teleport that might otherwise simply bypass the puzzles of the dungeon. But doing normal magic things inside is fine and we got a one use 'ignore plot armor' pass for the sake of teleporting out and back to the Seer, our resident quest giver. Then they just tossed on some fluff for the sake of worldbuilding/setting/not breaking the fourth wall with a battering ram.
