    I've implied in the encounter with the traveling elves that she speaks a different dialect of elvish than the wandering elves from Talanriel the party met.

    Do you want to run with that and the idea that Chalia and her kin share distant ancestors with those of Talanriel but separated over time via the fey folds? Or are her kin mostly from Talanriel, only separated since her parents' travels as scholars and archeologists.

    If the latter, as a pale "cavern elf", I picture this as a sub group within Talanriel.

    1) They are cavern elves, but they are not from Talanriel, but from the old world. I'm not sure if in this world everybody was teleported in from the same original world or not, and if all elves come from the same world.

    2) works for me. Can be a bit like Spanish and Portuegese (or Italian). It sounds the same and if both groups make an effort, they can understand each other.

    3) Chalia grew up on the old world and was teleported here. If the Talanriel elves come from the same world, then the first, if not, then the first, but a lot more distant.

    4) I mostly went with the culture of the Elves on Golarion when I wrote the backstory, so something very similar to that.

    5) It most likely will be, as that will be a very small group of people.

  2. I'll get the cloaks (Ilyrana I think has volunteered to join me) and a warhammer for myself. I guess that's not a problem to find one.

    @Starhawk: do you want a secondary weapon (light or one-handed melee) that I can hide in my arms when we go to that meet? If so and you don't have one yet, let me know which one and I'll get one?

  3. so everybody has all those, or is that 7 vials in total? Just to be absolutely clear.

    Silver might be useful against undead, especially on the secondary weapons as they won't be magical.

    "Smelly stuff, just great," she grumbled to herself as she followed Gareth, bow ready to attack. She wanted to clarify that she meant attackers, not children, but someone else had already opened the door and now she had to follow. Well, if all else failed, she was one of the fastest runners and certainly the better climber.

    "Weyling decided after the operation to pursue other opportunities," she said, "he was alive and well the last time we saw him, but he just decided that adventuring in the wild wasn't really his thing. Can happen. Not everybody is cut out for that kind of life."

    Outside she would suggest going to an inn or something to discuss the next steps. As they worked quite well together as a group, maybe they could stay together and put some of the money in a communal pot to pay for communal things, like some healing potions or one of those 'bigger on the inside than on the outside' bags.

    might be a good investment.

    As we use automatic bonus progression, we don't really need magical weapons and armour, as those come on their own, except for the special bonuses (make a weapon ghost touch, or flaming, etc.). So a few more consumables and wands are probably higher on the list of things to get.

    @Blaeringr: how do you plan on handling that, as normally a weapon needs a fundamental rune before you can put on a special rune. But now we don't need fundamental runes as they come on their own with the bonus progression (and if I understood correctly, it doesn't stack, otherwise I can get a weapon with 6 damage dice, and that's quite too much).

    Edit: that's all my spell slots, and everyone should be back to full.

    I'm okay with chipping in 150 for a wand. I can't do much more as we didn't get coins since I joined, so I only have what I had left over from my starting gear.

    Bella was a lot of things, but stealthy wasn't the first that came to mind, unless it was accompanied by 'not at all'. But she did try to move forward as silently as possible. It went quite well until she dislodged a broomstick that was standing against a wall and it clattered against some metal rods also standing there.

    Halgana only had 2 CON damage, so one lesser restoration (or two nights of rest) will restore that (even if the lesser restoration only restores 1, the night will restore the other, so 1 casting is enough). I can help out with the wand if we want to get one. I have about 200gp (I need some to get the warhammer as I said before) I can contribute.

    "Let's have a quick look around," he said to Bernadette, "if you read the map, I'll drive."

    He was glad the Land Rover didn't look all that nice, so it wouldn't attract too much attention. And luckily his living in the UK for some time has made him used to driving on the left side of the road, so that shouldn't pose a big issue either. He would keep to the speed limits (or lower if the road conditions don't allow faster driving), not wanting to damage the car on the first day they had it. He would scout out two routes to their rendez-vous and at least as many different bug out routes.

    Olis can't answer a lot of the questions, as she only saw the critters and not the magic needed to create them (and she also didn't know how to do it).

    "Does this happen often," she has a question of her own.

     

    When that's answered, she will go back to her room, get rid of her armour and then also head to the baths. Armour was very good, but if you ran in it and fought in it, it often started to smell. In the field that was less an issue, but here she wanted to stay a bit clean. After that she would continue cleaning her 'new' armour, but also make sure she headed to bed in time.

    I want to buy a regular warhammer and if Ulrica wants, something for her as well (longsword probably). I'll get two spells to hide those weapons in my arms so if we're taken or if we have to leave our regular weapons, I have something with me.

    Nera follows the child, her bow in her hand, ready just in case it did turn out to be a trap. She wasn't sure, but the amount of paladins and crusaders and other such people in this city made it strange that someone would get away with this. So she decided to keep her eyes, ears and nose open and be ready for anything. She was also still not sure if the child was really a child, so she kept an eye out for any clues, one way or the other.

    At night, she would use her spells to make sure everybody was healed, or as much as she could and count on Flint for the rest. The following day she moves along, senses stretching to make sure that they wouldn't be ambushed. When they reached the small hamlet and saw the burning hut, she looked around to see where the thudding is coming from and if someone is already dousing the fire.
