Elowyn the Elf Magic-User  (AC6 | HP 3/3 | MV 12") Elowyn was never one for violence; he felt much more comfortable being well behind the "front lines" of any such activities.  Having rescued his comrade from the battle, Elowyn glances down at the bloody body of Dekmal, frantically searching for the location of the most severe wounds. He turns his head toward the wagon caravan and shouts toward the drivers, "Bring me cloth to bind his wounds! Now!"  (OOC: No skills or magics are involved, I'm just trying to apply pressure and stop the bleeding, until proper healing can be utilized.)

Not wanting to be the one to allow Dekmal to perish due to inaction, Elowyn throws caution to the wind and runs up to his fallen comradre, grabs him under the arms, and tries to move back towards the safety of the wagons as quickly as he can. (OOC: Including a Strength check, just in case you need it)

Elowyn chucks his dart at orc #1. Post roll: well, fooey. At least he didn't hit an ally!

Elowyn is horrified at the sight of one of his companions, Dek, being stricken down by the orc. "Nooo!" he cries out as he leaps into action. Elowyn quickly moves to the north, takes cover behind a convenient tree, and hurls the dart waiting in his hand at the now isolated orc.

Regarding the range for a dart (1.5/3/4.5), are these 1 inch squares on the map? So, being three squares away, a thrown dart would be at medium range, which is a -2 penalty?

Llodin Elowyn will attempt to move two squares to the north, just above Hall, and hurl his dart at the lone orc (#1) who is not engaged in melee. Is that a tree north of Val? If so, I will try to use that as cover. PS. Are we still declaring intentions before the action (i.e. dice rolls) takes place? EDIT: Sorry, got my characters mixed up! 😄

(Elowyn: AC6 | HP 3 | MV 12) Unable to safely chuck a dart at any of the orc attackers, Elowyn will try to verbally assault and distract them so that Hall can perform his sneaking maneuver, if you allow actions to be changed after declaration.

Elowyn the Elf Magic-User  (AC6 | HP 3 | MV 12") Elowyn, with dart in hand, looks to the left, then looks to the right, trying to find an opportunity to hurl the dart at one of the orc attackers. "Damn!" he mutters, unable to find a clear light of sight to a target without risking his dart piercing one of his comrades. He'll have to wait for just the right time. As Hall calls out, Elowyn turns to look in his direction and hollers, "Ugly WHAT?" Then, seeing what Hall's intentions were, he turns back toward the orcs and calls out in orcish with a smile, "Hey you ugly blokes! Why don't you come over here and fight a real man!", attempting to distracts the orcs, as feeble as it may seem.

Elowyn will prepare to dismount from his horse and ready a dart for throwing. While staying behind the fighter-types in front of him, he will attempt to throw a dart at any orcs within short or medium range which are not involved in melee with our party. If no such targets present themselves, Elowyn will enthusiastically cheer his team on while trying to think of something else to do. :)

@Jedaii Do you want action declarations in this thread, or in the IC thread? Also, do you allow spellcasting from horseback? 

Same, but copy/paste in Source mode doesn't seem to work correctly with images? The formatted text gets pasted fine, along with URLs (a link to my character sheet), but I get an empty spot in the editor where the image would be. I have to delete the empty image, and then re-insert it from the Other Media button. If anyone has figured out a better way, please let us know!   EDIT: Oh! I just tried clicking Submit after pasting, without deleting and re-inserting the blank image, and when it posted the message the image shows up correctly. So it looks like copy/paste will work while in Source mode. Whew!

if you've already uploaded an image, you can click the Other Media button below the text editor and select "Insert existing attachment". But you still have to double-click the inserted image to set the justification and size.

Elowyn is to the right of the front wagon. I feel like whichever spot I choose, I'm doomed.
