The chunky straps of her sports bra peaked through the stretched opening of her shirt's neck. "So, we'll just work out but I'll work out... less or more? I don't know yet. Akari's idea works." She hadn't looked at them yet. She was working and thinking a loud. A loud clatter filled the cargo hold as she dumped out all of the equipment onto the first waist high surface she could find. With hands free of burden, she turned to her companions. She gave all of them a hard look, not in judgement but in consideration. Some gears turned as she retrieved her yoga mat from the same cubby Akari's had been stuffed into. "It's not live for anything. So just try to relax." Raenala laid out her pad just beside the other two, and began setting up her datapad for a low, wide angle shot of all of them. Content with set up, she finally settled down onto her mat. A deep breath swelled within her, before a long sigh left slowly through a part in her lips. "This is day #### of my life at EJ Corp. One of my biggest challenges is making effective use of our space on our ship to keep the normal 'shore' life amenities we all love and enjoy. She fell back onto the high stool, the protein pouch held only by her mouth as she gulped, clacking away at her keyboard. "I can only show so many shots of the Drift before it gets boring. So, we'll just do some shots of our workout."

And she hadn't even managed to fall back asleep in her own bed. Instead, she laid slumped over the mess table, tablet propped up and keyboard still folded out. One arm curled around her face for the most threadbare of support and comfort. She was roused from that half-restful slumber. Bleary eyed, she stared with blank disinterest at her tablet screen which had been open to a word processor. The letter E had been printed for 100 pages straight now.Her fingers combed through her hair with a wince as her fingers caught against a knot. She barely even realized Akari had been walking around the kitchen preparing his breakfast. "Sure." She croaked, her vocal cords still caught in the lethargy of disuse. A cough cleared her throat before she continued, "I'm tired of staring at screens, anyways." As if she'd truly be free from her computers, even during exercise. She'd need SOME footage for the short-form videos. The weight of staying relevant on the pact world stage was anything but easy. Especially when Raenala wasn't actually funny or particularly likeable. Her leg bobbed slowly as her brain worked. Opalescent eyes drifted from her sea of E's on her screen to Akari. Inspiration revealed itself in a smirk drawn faintly across her lips. "Akari, could you bench me, or anyone on this ship?"

Side threads could be fun, and once we're done with those, we can just throw are activities into a short post on the main thread for brevity's sake. That way we can also keep exploring whatever side topic while the main thread goes on (after like a one week period devoted just to side threads). The future I'd love to get us to do downtime sometimes, Raenala is built heavily around covering and harrying fire. I think for this downtime specifically I'll probably have Raenala do Day 1) Day 2)

She assisted where she could, even going so far as to listen to Davir's instructions on exactly where he wanted the cargo to be laid out in the bay. Of course she had her side hustles to run as well. Her split attention saw her flipping between work and glamorized photo ops of herself or other crewmembers and b-reel recordings for the next round of uploads she'd push onto the Akiton infosphere. The content from her last haul were still making their way around the Pact Worlds as queued uploads reached their appointed hours and scheduled infosphere bulk transfers completed between the planets. She found her mind wandering as the hours droned and her limbs tired. Did anyone on Aposte ever watch these? It wasn't a thought she'd liked lingering on. She shut the question out from her mind with the loud thud of a crate of berries. When the loading was done, there was little more for Raenala left to do except sit on the bridge and wait for Akari to kick the ship off into space. A shower was calling her name, and maybe some trashy Castrovelian reality TV, Loving Royalty. A show following the eccentric tendencies of a young Formian Queen in search of love from a sea of suitors. It's currently in its third season and she is still, loudly, single.

Her pistol had even raised with that cold resignation of brooding anger, but in the end, she never squeezed the trigger. "Good work everyone. Let's get out of here quick! We won't make our bonus if we get booked." Her weapon was holstered now as she walked beside the rig. As she strode towards the cabin and the comfort of her well-worn passenger seat, her hands pulled at the rigging-- Testing the lines for any new weakness introduced by their assailants.

About the Player Hello, I'm Gilda. I've been doing roleplay and writing in some form of another for over half my life now, so about 16 years! My main joy with roleplay is character interactions. I enjoy the building of friendships and rivalries between characters. The growth of bonds and how they manifest is my main joy. Beyond that I love to learn more about a world, to conjure up compelling ideas in concert with other people and explore them to their natural conclusion. I am very laid back with my approach to roleplay. If it isn't fun, we shouldn't be doing it is my primary approach. I primarily have time for PbP during the weekdays. PbP RP one of my favorite ways to take a break from the workday. Unfortunately, outside of work I am a pretty busy body. So I usually don't reply much over the weekend unless I am extremely motivated to do so or I am trying to maintain a rhythm befitting the scene I'm participating in. (I don't like leaving people hanging at critical moments). I am primarily interested in... just about any concept right now! I know that isn't very helpful, but my desire is more generally devoted to just fantasy in general lately. Any extra twists are fun. I supposedly lately I've been reading a lot of elf depression manga (Frieren) so something with a somber note could be fun to explore. Generally, I'm excited for anything that'll allow my character (and others) to explore their emotions through a hard day's work of adventuring. Or whatever it is they end up doing.
