  2. Dayv The tide had turned quickly. He was just getting ready to saunter toward the saloon when the doors bang open and a group of emaciated undead cowpokes stumble out searching around for something or other. Then the head honcho, Eddie, seemed to dispel Luce's invisibility only for the warrior to be surrounded by a small cloud of mist. Add on to that his sudden appearance behind a covered wagon seemed to set Dayv on the backfoot. He oriented himself quickly however and stepped up to the edge of the wagon drawing his revolver and shooting at the closest enemy.   4. Carthen Carthen groans as the watery healing washes over him, he opens his eyes and puts a hand to his pink, raw skin of the wound. He rolled to his feet and goes about picking up his weapon, moving gingerly. As he listens to the exchange he turns to Voss, "Smart. Get lost." He turns to Ruffio, his face almost snarling, "You, however, seem to lack a remorse I would have liked. Working for Lamm only gets you dead, by his rivals or him." He pounds the head of his light hammer into his fist as he slowly walks forward.   5. Duncan The big man has a clear pep in his step. He moves with his usual big goofy grin as he straps on his armor and various weapons. "Yo, this is going to be lit. I have heard some wild stuff about this planet. I cannot wait to check out their bars, maybe start a fight." He says this last part as he checks the rack of his scattergun. He steps into the cargo bay with Davir and helps the far too skinny man start loading.   6. Bishop Bishop sat at a table, against the wall, drink almost forgotten as his head slumped slightly. Just another overworked dock worker seeking solace and distraction in the cups. He had heard that there could be a link here to his quarry, Lamm, but so far it has been a dead end. What's worse is since this was not a sanctioned assignment he had no stipend for proper equipment, namely quality disguises. The make shift wig he wore itched like he never imagined but it still did the trick. In the end, he just made it seem like he had lice, much like more than half the current clientele. The crowd was raucous tonight and Bishop didn't like it one bit. He wants to keep to himself but that seemed short sighted with the growing amount of fights starting up. In fact, it was one such fight that you could say changes his life forever. Minutes later Bishop sat nursing a split lip and red swollen knuckles. He hates those kinds of fights, too chaotic, too uncontrollable but that was life in his line of work. He thought back to the start of the fight, recalling how he had stood to leave and ended up slipping on some kind of paper, or card, and spilling the wrong person's drink. Now he looked down at the harrow card in his hand with the writing sprawled on it. The Peacock how pretentious. As a loyal devotee of a god he knew that superstition was a thing and somehow he knew, this was going to be big. Lancet Street A change of clothes and a quick meal later had Bishop standing outside this curious shop. It seemed to be hopping with people entering often and the sounds of conversation filtering out. He took a deep breath and walked right in. Bishop was what one would call boring. From his voice to his appearance. Drab colored clothing, shaved down brown hair, and brown eyes. "I hear there are mushrooms here," he says, attaching to some of the last statements made. As Luce enters and goes about setting themselves up, Dayv checks all of his various weapons hidden on his person. It seems to be similar to a ritual or habit. He even checks himself to ensure he looks well traveled enough. Once it has been time he would stroll into the local watering hole with the friendliest smile he could muster, takes off his hat, and approaches the bar.   10. I am really looking forward to RPing Bishop with Velka. For some reason I can see the two characters getting along and working well together.
  11. Thanks for bearing with my muddled brain haha. As much as I am a fan of Feint, I am going for more of a switch hitter style combat. In that vein I ended up choosing Dodge as my other half. This will let my character have a better chance of surviving longer. Again, I appreciate your patience and insights.
  12. I totally see now. I am very familiar with Elephant in the Room but your alternative, which is a good way to do it, was just one of those things I needed to wrap my head around. Lol. Consider my brain wrapped 😁
  13. So I am not sure I am understanding this background trait/feat optional ruling that is being used here. From what I gather, we as players, get 2 background traits and can take a Drawback for another trait as per usual. As an alternative, we can spend 2 of those allotted background traits for 1 feat off the list (Or spend 1 feat to get 2 background traits.)
  14. I appreciate your insight into the feat selection but I am pretty happy with the traits I have chosen and wouldn't want to give up two of them for a feat. As for the Judgements, I don't actually choose one specifically. I choose at the time of use and can change within a battle as a Swift Action if I find it is needed.

  17. Sareem is a concept I have wanted to play for a while. I am imagining either a Bard/Familiar Archetype path or Summoner archetype. A Phoenix or Phoenix adjacent would make a great Familiar/Eidolon.
  18. I had a lot of fun coming up with the idea for Bishop. I am getting ready to put down his background but I definitely went with an Undercover Abadar Agent. Rooting out unlawful factions by acting as one of them.

Point Blank Shot/Dodge Home: Bishop was originally raised in the North Point district in the orphanage sponsored by the Church of Abadar. Once he began to work as an Inquisitor he would move around and use a stipend to rent various rooms. Currently, he has a room within the Midland district. ―Background― The child who would become known as Bishop, and his sister, were placed in an Abadar orphanage at a very early age. They grew up raised under strict discipline, the church being what it is, with Bishop being noted early on as "adaptable". Although he had a bland and ordinary look to him, his talents for changing his mannerisms, voice and appearance would come to define his youth. The church saw these traits and chose to train him as an Inquisitor. An agent that would go undercover in Korsova, seeking out those that looked to degrade society. While highly successful, the job was incredibly stressful on Bishop, his mental state seemed to reflect the danger he was always in. His ever-present paranoia serving to enhance his situational awareness but severely erode his trust in others. After some years of service and success, tragedy befell his personal life when he found out his sister, known as Quinn, had fallen on harder times then he and became addicted to a highly dangerous drug known as shiver. After a bit of investigating, calling on his resources and trained skills, he has learned the villain behind it all, Gaedran Lamm. While the guards Bishop has approached seem to be focused on bigger dealers, he has taken it upon himself to seek out Lamm and vows to take them down. ―Personality― While Bishop is bland and otherwise unextraordinary in appearance, inside he is everything one might expect from someone raised in an Abadar orphanage. He is passionate about the law and protecting the values of society. He understands that not everyone is out to subvert the law and missteps should be considered, but he is not naive and fully expects those who toe the line will ultimately have to make a choice to go in one direction or the other. His largest downfall is his paranoia and major distrust of others, something he actively works against but has not been able to overcome. ―Appearance― Bishop keeps his face clean shaven, and his brown hair taken down to merely stubble.   21. So I totally mathed wrong on the Karma use. I did take an extra level of Outdoors when I could not afford it. I took it away and individually added a karma skill up in Survival, Tracking, Unarmed. From what I can see of my Karma use: Starting Karma: 25 Positive Qualities: -25 Negative Qualities: +28 Active Skills: -28 Knowledge Skills: Area Knowledge: Everglades 3 Butchering 1 English (Native) Smuggler Routes 2 Spanish 1 Wilderness Survival 3 I downgraded the goggles to only have the Smartlink. That should fill the 1 capacity Left over Nuyen is 3,530 Please let me know if this answers all the above.
