  1. Hey, unfortunately I'm going to need to drop out. Good luck to everyone else!
  2. Name: Hakuji "Harry" Hakuba Ancestry: Human (Half-Elf) Class: Magus (Scourging Lash) Sheet: Appearance: Harry is a short man with black hair and pale skin. He is almost always dressed in white clothes, from his beret to his rope. His pale appearance is contrasted by the red tassels that adorn his beret, his red chain mail covering his robes, and a long piece of red rope that he always carries around with him. Despite his slender appearance, he has a surprising amount of strength. Personality: Young and excitable, he is excited to help his extended family out by eliminating an ancient evil from the world. He treats the whole adventure like a game and doesn't really take things seriously - unless it has to do with arcane or occult knowledge. He spends much of his time outside of combat either reading or skipping rope. He hates dirt and the colour blue and would fastidiously remove any of those from his clothes or his living quarters. He is currently researching a way to magically and quickly clean items around him. History: Born to a an American father and Japanese mother, Hakuji or "Harry" he prefers to call himself, was raised with the expectation that his life would be peaceful. He was an average student in school and did not excel in anything except jumping rope. He was much better at learning the magical arts from his family, but he never expected to ever use them in combat - given that there was nothing that could possibly break the boring peace of the 1980s. If the events of 1999 did not occur, he would have graduated, gone to University and helped run the Hakuba shrine. That peaceful life was not to be. Harry was not present when his family received the missive from the UN to take up arms against Dracula. Every hand was required to combat the threat - which included Harry. Excited to finally see some action, Harry took up arms (or ropes) and journeyed far, far away to contribute. It is his first time away from home and secretly, he feels lonely. There is no one else close to his age he can talk to as well, so he feels really out of place. Given that no one really took him seriously, he was confined to basic guard duty and combat against shambling skeletons that barely posed a threat. It was by chance that Harry happened to be present and paying attention when the call for volunteers to find Julius Belmont was sent out. Hoping to finally do something useful, he volunteered. He is excited to venture into Dracula's castle and is confident that absolutely nothing will go wrong. Character image below: Show this
  3. "You can wield ropes as one-handed martial weapons that deal 1d4 slashing damage, have the finesse, grapple, nonlethal, reach, and two-hand d8 traits and are in the flail group. You can apply runes to ropes as if they were weapons. You do not take a circumstance penalty to your attack roll for making a lethal attack with a rope." Looks like 10 feet to me.
  4. Hey GM, I joined the site to try and join this campaign. Love Castlevania and like Pathfinder 2e. Given the party distribution, I'm guessing that Wis/medicine is covered by the anamist, Charisma is covered by the gunslinger and sorceror (who should also have heals) and crafting by the kineticst. The party is probably missing a second frontliner and a guy who is good at Int. I'm thinking either a magus or a fighter with a lot of intelligence. Which would be cool for you guys? P.s. I have Magus+ (which is a piece of 3pp content) which gives me the option to use a rope like a whip as I spellstrike. I think it would be incredibly appropriate for this campaign, if you allow me to use it.
