7. - Fair Fortune Livery Chaos ensued in the ruined building as everyone tried to fend off the attacking dogs. Fiametta and Rexus attempted to fend off the dogs with spells, only to be stimied by the movement of one of their allies in front of the line of fire. White Adder attempted to stab at the mutt nipping at him, but the animals much smaller body made an unfriendly target. Lilette faired only a little better, her attempted stab acting more as a punch on the creatures side, barely doing more than bruise. Saria had moved to the other mutt, doing little better in her attempts. But John had finally had enough it seems. His morningstar came down with a true blow on the mastiff's head. This not only stopped the large dog from turning his calves into veal, but also seemed to spook the dog near White Adder. It took the bruising Lilette had given it as a fair warning and attempted to flee, squeezing between White Adder and the wall. The other dog turned its attention on Saria, determined to leave some mark, but Saria could feel the extra protection the bracers she wore giving a layer of magical resistance and preventing the bite. OOC Mastiff (G) is down White Adder has AoO on 1 (1J is position it is in when you get the AoO, 1W is where it flees to) Party is up

"And people accuse me of liking the sound of my own voice." Heckling had never been a hobby of hers, other than the amount it took to get someone to throw the first punch. Not that them not throwing the first punch ever stopped her. It just gave her a handy excuse. But a part of her agreed with some of the sentiments. Why was this woman going on and on about 'more than your share of suffering'. If these people didn't want to suffer they needed to stop sitting around and complaining and do something with their lives. When she had been beaten up daily as a kid, she learned to fight back. When she had been forced to work the worst most menial jobs at the tannery, she had gotten out. Only the weak expected others to save them and she was not weak. Her small offerings to Eiseth were her promises to maintain that strength and not let herself be lead astray. And Iomedae.... Signy's face wrinkled in disgust. Had a goddess like that ever had to endure the callous behavior that Signy's favored Queen of Night had suffered? Such a spoilt goddess didn't deserve such worship. It made sense she was relying on words to rally the crowd instead of actions. Each round of the distraction, he makes a Perform (act, comedy, dance, or oratory) skill check. Any creature within 30 feet of the bard (including the bard himself) that is affected by an illusion (pattern) or illusion (figment) magical attack may use the bard's Perform check result in place of its saving throw if, after the saving throw is rolled, the Perform skill check proves to be higher. If a creature within range of the distraction is already under the effect of a noninstantaneous illusion (pattern) or illusion (figment) magical attack, it gains another saving throw against the effect each round it sees the distraction, but it must use the bard's Perform skill check result for the save. It had none of the prickle or stasis she remembered in faded memories. She got off the ladder, scanning the room methodically for the sources of the auras she had seen earlier, re-applying the spell as needed. She looked over at the bouncer, wanting to ask her to check as well but also wanting to keep her secret for her. "Brucilde? I can... tell you if I see more auras." She thought she was good at observing people, but clearly she had not been trying hard enough. She followed the others into the dark room her eyes automatically adjusting to the dark and then the new light of the torch. Right, most can not see. This fact still was strange for her as she could not imagine how it must feel to live your life so blind for so much of the time. But it did come in handy to obfuscate her own work. She followed the bouncer closely as well as the nice lady, Iolana. Kimmy would probably want her to protect those important to Brucilde as well Mechanics Move: Standard: Detect Magic Free: Details Statblock Teza Hasar Fetchling Dirge Bard 1 NG HP 9 / 9 Speed ft Init 2 AC 14 Fort 1 Ref 4 Will 1 CMB +1 BAB 0 Longsword +1 (1d8+1, 19-20/x2) Str 13 (1) Dex 14 (2) Con 13 (1) Wis 8 (-1) Int 12 (1) Cha 18 (4) Fetchling Dirge Bard 1 NG HP 9 / 9 Speed ft Init 2 AC 14 Fort 1 Ref 4 Will 1 CMB +1 BAB 0 Longsword +1 (1d8+1, 19-20/x2) Str 13 (1) Dex 14 (2) Con 13 (1) Wis 8 (-1) Int 12 (1) Cha 18 (4)

Long fingers." She smiled widely, enjoying her attempts at making Cimri squirm. She opened her mouth to make another crude comment when Tileavia began to speak. Taking that as her cue she retreated back to the fountain, sitting down on the edge to listen.
