  1. Breaks into the game like this with a CE character, now that's what I call getting into the spirit of the role! But why, dear gods why, did you have to make my poor lad a better singer then yourself :3 Just imagine that scene.
  2. I know mate, I know. Knife resting against the joints. I should probably have taken a nap beforehand, but oh well.
  3. Beats me still, I managed to lop of near half my thumb the other week. The combination of being very tired, very hungry, keeping my knives *very* sharp and the most poisonous onions I've ever had to deal with, ended up getting pizza instead.
  4. Spicy steam eh? That sounds downright lovely But yea I hear ya mate, there's an urge to go in and change things around, then annoy poor Ian(truesilver) there with a few pings... But look at it from the bright side, soon enough everyone who got picked can sit down and plan how they're characters might interact, viewpoints, ideologies or simply if they've met before.
  5. Best of luck everyone! looking forwards to seeing this place a tad more active
  6. Well it's so bloody quiet in here, so let me! Can't abite quiet in a social game, misses the entire point. Anyways; Who were her adoptive parents and why'd they pick up a random child, almost literally, off the streets. Life's rough enough as it is for most people without another mouth to feed, so why'd they do it (and are they happy with the choice?) Royally buggering things up and leaving out of shame seems entirely reasonable, difficult to avoid being reminded that you're responsible for someones death if you pass his parents and/or siblings each and every day, but you seem to have cut the story a bit short mate. So you've arrived in glorious Cheliax, how'd she eat? What'd she think of the locals, and the culture. Do you know anyone in town, if so why'd they drag you along to this little riot they're throwing and if you don't then why you joining a protest?
  7. Well I just needed some charisma class skills is all. And a way to get a reasonable will save. Especially with the drawback, and I really like that drawback. People knowing his identity (name) getting power over him ties in so really well with classic demon (fiend) nonsense, and goes a fair way to justify why he'd need to be deceptive and not be trusting since that's how a proper asmodean should be... And of course the clergy of Asmodeus would want someone they can control. Fits perfectly. But there's a difference between it being neat and it being bloody crippling. Then I had a spare trait and +2 initiative is boring but good and also does fit and rounds him out mechanically. Not sold, but didn't find something that was neat but not far to niche to ever come up. Looking at you even if it would fit in so well with the lvl 3 scaled fist fire damage ki thing. Please don't tempt me, I'll fold in an instant. I'm kinda happy having a solid bluff and intimidate (and perform, definitely wanna put some points into singing or the like to take advantage of the celestial language... Angelic opera indeed) but not diplomacy, lets another character have the limelight gives him things he is good and bad at rather then a classic "I'm a face, I do all the face things" type of character.
  8. Twenty eight?! What in the absolute buggery did I do?! And more importantly what can I do to clear things up? But yea, changes have been made.
  9. Alright so I may have forgotten to link the sheet. That's done now And looking at the map of Longacre you posted I may have buggered up in a potentially interesting direction... Cause I see a church of Iomadae, but no grander and more impressive Asmodean place of worship across the street. Now that's an issue all of it's own, but some kind of place of devil worshiping is somewhat tangentially involved in Antilo's backstory, so that must mean (if I get in) that there's some kind of semi hidden temple complex full of devil worshiping slavers, priests and child soldiers just out of town. Which may be one of the most dnd sentences I've ever uttered. But hey, that could be fun to discuss at some point. Their goals, wants, needs etc etc. I don't know the story you got planned, so I wouldn't know how or if one would fit that into things. Or if it's even needed. But hey, giving the GM more ideas and tools is never a bad thing... In theory if not always in practice.
  10. Oh you absolute bloody tease. "Advert is over, I'm gonna upload some in character and prologue preparations... But you lot wait another few weeks!" Well played indeed. Good to hear that you've enjoyed your week tho, and good luck to everyone involved.
  11. Now that's a neat answer. Dunno if both of us are going to be accepted mate, if so I think it'd honestly be easier to figure out how Signy and Antilo know of one another then not. Cause on one hand you have a rather violent young woman prowling the streets looking for an excuse to throw down, if I read things correctly, and on the other someone chucked out on the streets semi-regularly and told to go impress and bring home cash to justify his continued existence. Seriously now what would the odds be of them *not* having at the very least beaten each other up once or twice?
  12. I'd be careful friend, least he decides that poor Peg's last name ought to be spelled "Baldrick"
  13. Well don't I feel silly. Main reason I was looking at Brazen is because a mix of fire and bluff, which if memory serves are two of Asmodeus' domains. I do suppose Scaled Fist does both of those, and kind of better. My compliments to the Naimless chef. So yea, changed a few things (mainly the traits. Definitely needed bluff as a class skill, and if one is to twist a archetype that goes on about basing itself on confidence instead of introspection a trait called *fiendish* confidence tied to the worship of Asmodeus seems like a solid way to go about just that. Yea, I feel much better about this... Maybe trade reactionary for some way to get diplomacy as a class skill if I get in but we have nobody else capable of holding a conversation... There arn't enough skillpoints in this world.
  14. If I may be so very curious. To all my fellow vengeance applicants who put down their motivation and power hungry ambition. Why? Say you got all that nebulous power, what'd you do with it? What caused this little hole in your heart that must constantly be fed with "More!" What's the source of this nagging little insecurity? I mean yes we're a bit out from the deadline but let's get something going here, shall we?
  15. Alright, I think I'm ready for a review/first proper draft. The image was bloody hell, why is it so difficult to make an AI not give you something handsome and perfectly dressed? Not to mention the hair, oh dear me, "you want longer hair do you? Hm, hm. Alright so a beautiful girl with long hair and a mustache made out of pencils? Weird but I gotcha". But we got some gauntness and sunken eyes so it's not all bad. So to the build. It's been a bit since I buggered around with Pathfinder but I think the mix of archetypes are very technically legal, and this being a game in Cheliax that would be fitting. They both change which bonus feats the character has access to but one (Hamatulatsu master) "changes the normal monk bonus feats" while Brazen disciple gives you an entirely new list that you "Must choose from", so I think there is no direct conflict there. This is assuming you wouldn't mind tweaking Brazen ever so slightly from "Efreets are neat" to "Devils are cool". Not entirely enthused about dumping charisma but monks need so many stats! And a little worried about not having enough out of combat applicability, but getting wis to bluff and disguise at 3 should give me a bit more, alongside a fair few (but not nearly enough) skillpoints. the caretaker trait was a bit last minute, and entirely due to the beliers bite feat... I figured if he's been trained to cause hemorrhage like that either Antilo and his two surviving not-siblings have figured out how to patch one another up or nobody survived that lesson. I also spent almost all of my money on some jewelry and I hope you don't mind to much, but it felt appropriate. If you, or anyone else for that matter, have any ideas, pointers or crucial things I've missed please do let me know. As for Cimri not quite caring about anything but getting the job done I have a particularly insistent hunch that Asmodean clergy are not the sort to pat you on the back and go "Well at least you tried, and that's whats important". Antilo's view on the matter ought to be a bit influenced by this and either get the job done or try and try again until it is. Because he doesn't have the luxury of reporting a failure.
