Makaria, looks at the Orc guarding their path out of here wielding a great axe looking intimidating. "Hello there, do you speak common or Draconian? is there a problem here, perhaps its better that we talk this one through, we mean you no harm,"? she asked.

At the greeting from the orc, Gilavar tenses. His hands casually drop to his weapons, and his eyes casually look for more orcs.

Without looking at Makaria, the elven hunter replies to her, "he says that this place belongs to clan Naggelug."

If the orc looks as if he doesn't understand Makaria, the elven hunter says to the orc in its native language, "Dimi kayat ti riribuk iti clan Naggelug. Aglabastayo laengen."

The orc focuses his eyes on Gilavar, the hatred of his kind for elves burning in them. He growls before turning his attention to Makaria, and answers in slow and rough common “I do speak common pretty one.” His fist bumps against his chest “Ubruk is third war leader of Clan Naggelug. Ubruk is claiming this place and everything in it for Clan Naggelug

It seems obvious there is a tension between Gilavar and that of the Orc leader; that is undeniable despite the fact that he could speak Orcish and she couldn't. However, she was thankful for his interpretation Makaria doesn't show fear and believes that this situation could still go either way. 'I wonder if this Orc is aware of Dazlyn and Norbus'? she wondered to herself; before speaking again.

"Ubruk, leader of the clan Naggelug our sojourn here is but a temporary one," She said but then began to look around her. Because where there is a leader and army is sure to be nearby? now waiting for the others to interject.

ReitanPostPic.png.5a41899adcf19eebacf2382c3345fecf.pngReitan Rhuin

Tempest Cleric of Talos

AC: 18  | HP: 15/15 | Speed: 20 ft | Features and Traits

Wrath of the Storm | Spells | Attributes | Channel Divinity

Reitan understood the orc but didnt let on that he did so. It seemed he wanted to claim the temple for themselves after they did the hard work of clearing it out. Seeing no good outcome from this encounter, and the orcs he knew only understood strength and were less prone to negotiating, he began to utter the words. Since Gilavar and Makaria seemed to be speaking to the orc, he felt he had enough time.

Under his breath he repeated tonitruum, until a rumble of thunder could be heard directly overhead. He continued, tremoribus, and the ground seemed to tremor beneath their feet. And finally vocieramini.

With both the ground tremors and thunder he stepped around Makaria and spoke. His voice boomed much louder than normal, hopefully echoing in the area.

He spoke in Orcish, hoping this quick thaumaturgy trick would have the effect he intended.

Urgot ig norak ja Talos ul goran dig ragar urg kirok var karog!I am a chosen of Talos and this temple has been claimed by him. Leave now or I will collapse this temple and bury you with it!

Vala was among the first to wake up, she took the chance to stretch and check the mule, have breakfast and groom herself as much as the conditions permitted. She witnessed the sun rise, and meditated*. She was ready to leave by the time the others were consulting the dwarves; she just paid attention, and waited patiently for her fellows.

When the orc showed up, she whispered to Makaria and Katya: Girls, please keep watch on the mule. The paladin hopped off the cart; Vala was at ease but on guard, keeping an eye on her surroundings... she was certainly amused by the conversation, and eventually added: You’re late, didn’t you hear? It’s finder’s keepers. By the time Reitan made a display of his powers, the Paladin rose her shield and prepared for action.

As Reitan's display of power washes over the place. you hear an additional voice coming out of the bushes

"Ubruk, snash gar Talon, ner itch tar"

Ubruk snarling only "Shabot!"

Shortly therafter a voice coming from the other side "Thesdhor urgus nadik parax Draconis, dushkul nor Gor."

Ubruk grins maliciously at Vala as she is talking about finders keepers. "You are wrong. To keep something you would need to live. Teckl'a!"

upon his last word 5 more orcs steps out of the brush work, each of them carrying a great axe in their hands and one javelin strapped to their backs.

Languages: Common, Elvish, Draconic, Druidic

FeatsObservantQuick to notice details of your environment, you gain the following benefits:

Increase your Intelligence or Wisdom score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
If you can see a creature's mouth while it is speaking a language you understand, you can interpret what it's saying by reading its lips.
You have a +5 bonus to your passive Wisdom (Perception) and passive Intelligence (Investigation) scores.

 | FeaturesRitual CastingYou can cast a Druid spell as a ritual if that spell has the ritual tag and you have the spell prepared
Wild ShapeStarting at 2nd level, you can use your action to magically assume the shape of a beast that you have seen before. You can use this feature twice. You regain expended uses when you finish a short or long rest.

Your druid level determines the beasts you can transform into, as shown in the Beast Shapes table. At 2nd level, for example, you can transform into any beast that has a challenge rating of 1/4 or lower that doesn't have a flying or swimming speed.
You can stay in a beast shape for a number of hours equal to half your druid level (rounded down). You then revert to your normal form unless you expend another use of this feature. You can revert to your normal form earlier by using a bonus action on your turn. You automatically revert if you fall unconscious, drop to 0 hit points, or die.

While you are transformed, the following rules apply:

Your game statistics are replaced by the statistics of the beast, but you retain your alignment, personality, and Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma scores. You also retain all of your skill and saving throw proficiencies, in addition to gaining those of the creature. If the creature has the same proficiency as you and the bonus in its stat block is higher than yours, use the creature's bonus instead of yours. If the creature has any legendary or lair actions, you can't use them.
When you transform, you assume the beast's hit points and Hit Dice. When you revert to your normal form, you return to the number of hit points you had before you transformed. However, if you revert as a result of dropping to 0 hit points, any excess damage carries over to your normal form, For example, if you take 10 damage in animal form and have only 1 hit point left, you revert and take 9 damage. As long as the excess damage doesn't reduce your normal form to 0 hit points, you aren't knocked unconscious.
You can't cast spells, and your ability to speak or take any action that requires hands is limited to the capabilities of your beast form. Transforming doesn't break your concentration on a spell you've already cast, however, or prevent you from taking actions that are part of a spell, such as Call Lightning, that you've already cast.
You retain the benefit of any features from your class, race, or other source and can use them if the new form is physically capable of doing so. However, you can't use any of your special senses, such as darkvision, unless your new form also has that sense.
You choose whether your equipment falls to the ground in your space, merges into your new form, or is worn by it. Worn equipment functions as normal, but the DM decides whether it is practical for the new form to wear a piece of equipment, based on the creature's shape and size. Your equipment doesn't change size or shape to match the new form, and any equipment that the new form can't wear must either fall to the ground or merge with it. Equipment that merges with the form has no effect until you leave the form.

Circle Form: MoonThe rites of your circle grant you the ability to transform into more dangerous animal forms. Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Wild Shape to transform into a beast with a challenge rating as high as 1. You ignore the Max. CR column of the Beast Shapes table, but must abide by the other limitations there.

Starting at 6th level, you can transform into a beast with a challenge rating as high as your druid level divided by 3, rounded down.

Combat Wild ShapeWhen you choose this circle at 2nd level, you gain the ability to use Wild Shape on your turn as a bonus action, rather than as an action.

Additionally, while you are transformed by Wild Shape, you can use a bonus action to expend one spell slot to regain 1d8 hit points per level of the spell slot expended.
<1/2>
Wild CompanionAt 2nd level, you gain the ability to summon a spirit that assumes an animal form: as an action, you can expend a use of your Wild Shape feature to cast the Find Familiar spell, without material components.

When you cast the spell in this way, the familiar is a fey instead of a beast, and the familiar disappears after a number of hours equal to half your druid level.

Still a little sleepy, Katya was excited to carry about their mission, when their plans are halted by the presence of the Orc, whose words she did not understand, but whose demeanor was clear to her. Just when Makaria seemed to have managed to cool tempers, Reitan throws the discussions away, thundering about with his spells. Vala only seems to exacerbate things, and Katya holds her hands to her chest as the rest of the Orcs come from the woodlands around. The Princess had never seen an Orc before, not a full one anyhow. There were Half-Orcs in Baldurs gate and even Neverwinter, but even those she had never interacted with.

"Wait! We can can come to an agreement! We need not fight! I'm sure even the mighty clan Naggelug wishes the Dragon Cryovain vanquished"

To Katya, the chance at losing mighty allies was nothing short of wasteful. What would be the point of destroying Cryovain if they could not forge peace in the regions. If she could help prevent bloodshed here, perhaps somewhere down the line, the Orcs could help them in their battle for the Sword Mountains. Hoping that invoking the Dragon, by name or species, is enough to quell tempers here, she bites her lip in apprehension, awaiting the response.
