Backstory

Domin was born on the road, his parents part of a wandering caravan. A tribe, really, though bound together by shared goals rather than blood.

Conduit of the Forgotten (Magical Tradition)

Domin mistakenly bound himself to a locus of power as a child while he was naively probing the astral connections of an old, abandoned shrine. Fortunately, the magic that came to him most easily even then was animation. And so, rather than rotting away in the countryside tending to the sanctum of some forgotten deity, he's taken the show on the road.

He's not entirely sure whether the shrine has become an artifact in its own right or if he is tapping into some patron entity. Whatever the case may be, it enjoys his attempts at ritual enough to let him tap into Akasha
