Warpedsteerboards was beached in Waterdeep he demonstrated an inability to steer his ship along with his young son. Warpedsteerboard fell into his cups and abandoned his son to live in the streets. Tavia, a older urchin helps Erick survive. On rare occasion Warpedsteerboard showed an interest in his son, teaching his some basics of sword work though most often it was Erick that ensured his father had a safe place to sleep.
