CHARACTER
Rasaja Cabur

Mandalorian (Human) Tech Specialist/Mercenary

Description

Rasaja is a Human Mandalorian woman, hailing from clan Cabur. Just reaching her 30s in age, Rasaja is tall, with a build that's the result of a life spent seeking out combat ... and excelling in it. Long black hair, usually pulled into a bun, frames a tanned, lean face that's usually hidden behind a helmet. Her eyes glint with an intelligence that's equally adept at slicing through computer systems as it is assessing weak points in enemy formations. Her armor, made in the distinctive Mandalorian style and composed of a notable amount of beskar metal, seems to be hand-modified, and festooned with technological devices, from the jetpack on its back, to the integrated weaponry and gadgets in its gauntlets. Of particular note is the repeating rotary blaster linked to a power generator in her armor, which folds into a broken-down state when not in active use.

Abilities

Rasaja moves in her armor like she was born in it, bearing its weight with practiced ease. She wields her blasters and blades with a grace that speaks to extensive training and hard-won experience, as expected of a Mandalorian. Her greatest asset, however, is her mind. Rasaja is adept with all manner of technological devices, her armor and weapons bearing her own custom tooled modifications and additions.

When the shooting starts, Rasaja tends to be in the vanguard, utilizing the superior mobility of her jetpack in conjunction with her rotary blaster to control the battlefield. While she prefers the blaster, she's no slouch in hand-to-hand combat, utilizing integrated blasters, vibroblades, and other technological surprises to distract, disorient, and eliminate targets.

Personality

The Mandalorians are a storied and vibrant culture, and Rasaja is a proud inheritor of their traditions. She is, in many ways, the archetypical Mandalorian: confident, honor-bound, and always seeking out new foes against which she can test herself and win glory for her clan. A firm believer of the Resol'nare, effectively the tenets of her people, Rasaja's tinkering with her gear, armor, and weapons has an almost religious context to it, reaffirming her commitment to the Mandalorian way of life. Rasaja prefers it when things are clear: her enemies in front of her, her clan beside her, a Mandalorian war-song on her lips, and a hefty payday waiting at the end of a firefight.

However, this adherence to her people's way of life can often lead to ... confrontations. More than once has Rasaja lost a contract due to her sense of honor, even turning down jobs because the targets would have been too easy, or some other condition that went against her code. With the rise of the Empire, however, such work is becoming much more common, and she's had to swallow her pride to allow for the continued wellbeing of the clan, especially while operating solo or with others outside the clan. Time will tell how much she can stomach such things, especially if the Empire turns its eyes towards the Mandalorian clans and their homeworld.

One of the few jobs that Rasaja will take without hesitation is the potential hunting of a Jedi. This is not out of any personal enmity, but rather a desire to see how she measures up against the ancestral enemies of her people, having been raised on the stories on the battles between Mandalorian and Jedi from millennia past.

Goals

- Honor clan Cabur, and the Mandalorian culture as a whole

- Protect her clan, people, and allies

- Seek out the greatest foes, and see the galaxy with her own eyes

Backstory

Rasaja's early life bears similarities to many tales told by those on the Outer Rim. An orphan growing up on a space station in a backwater system, Rasaja subsisted on the charity of the kinder station occupants, as well whatever food she could beg, borrow, or steal. While not entirely successful as a thief, she made up for it with a talent in mechanics, scavenging what she could out of the disposal dumps to cobble together into functional items that might earn her a few credits. Eventually, this earned her the attention of the station's maintenance crew, and they often approached her to help make repairs in hard-to-reach areas, with a promise of food and credits as payment. While not the most friendly of relationships, it was enough to let her survive.

Around her 9th standard year, however, the station received a set of ... intriguing visitors. Most of the time, Rasaja mentally dismissed the spacers that visited this backwater station. They were all the same, one way or another. Besides, the ones that did try to poach her for their crew weren't exactly friendly about it. But these ones were different. Their armor was so shiny, and had incredible devices built into it, things she'd only seen in holovids before. Each one was distinct, but they all bore the T-visor on their helmets that acted as a unifying standard. She found excuses to hang around where they were as they traversed the station; apparently they were on the trail of a bounty, and their target had finally run out of credits to bribe their way into a ship's hold. Unfortunately, given their unfamiliarity with the station, they seemed resigned to wait out their bounty.

Rasaja, however, saw her chance. She approached the armored warriors, and noticed that one of them was having difficulties with a device on their gauntlet. Something regarding the display, a problem that Rasaja had encountered before, and luckily, knew how to fix. She said as much, catching the crew off guard. They didn't take her seriously at first, but she was used to that. Most people didn't accept the words of a child with sincerity, especially not a child off the street in mismatched clothing. But the confidence in her words about the solution, as well as the various devices she herself wore, convinced the warriors to try her solution out. Impressed, the warriors rewarded her with some of their travel rations, and a few credits for good measure. To them, it was small gift that they were honor-bound to give, for aid rendered.

For Rasaja, it was the greatest collection of food and money she'd seen in front of her up till now. And she was hungry for more.

She offered to aid them in collecting their bounty, for a small share of the reward. The warriors agreed, and not long after, they'd cornered their quarry. However, having been backed into that corner, their target, a Quarren crime boss of some note, had called in some favors, and the warriors found themselves ambushed. Rasaja realized that if these warriors died, she wouldn't see her reward. The fact that they'd been genuinely nice and caring to her during their time on the station didn't hurt either, too.

So, she decided to help. Crawling into the maintenance hatches and crawl spaces of the station, Rasaja operated doors and created distractions, shadowing the warriors, separating the Quarren's goons from each other and making them easy pickings. Seeing these warriors in combat was an eye-opening experience for Rasaja. She watched as they soared through the air on their jetpacks, while shooting their blasters or employing those devices integrated into their armor to devastating effect. She doubted they really needed the help, but she persisted anyway. After a running gunfight from one end of the station to the other, the chase ended with the Quarren in binds, an irate station population, and a very curious bounty hunting crew.

Rasaja came clean to them, and they, in turn, gave her the promised share of the reward, on top of a little extra for the help. They praised her bravery and quick thinking, and the girl couldn't help but feel a pang of sorrow at the thought of them leaving. Rasaja expected this to be the end of things; she'd helped them, they paid her back in turn. So she was caught off-guard when the warriors extended to her an offer: come with them, be a part of their clan, their people, the Mandalorians. She could travel the galaxy, see so many new things, and fight alongside a group of people bound by conviction, honor, and a philosophy that stretched back millennia into the past. They warned that their way of life wasn't for the soft, or the undisciplined, but they were confident that Rasaja was neither.

They offered her freedom, and a chance to live her life to the fullest, not just survive.

How could she say no?

Clan Cabur

A clan with a long and storied history, dating back to the times of the Mandalorian Wars and the height of the Old Republic, clan Cabur in the current era has adopted a position of overall neutrality to the burgeoning Galactic Empire. While individual members are not restricted from taking work offered by the Empire, the clan overall is neither pro- nor anti-Imperial, maintaining their distance from any political involvement. So long as the Empire does nothing to disrupt this equilibrium, clan Cabur is content to focus on their own wellbeing and growth, adapting to the new order of the galaxy after the end of the Clone Wars, drying up what was effectively a seller's market. The majority of the clan's infrastructure can be found in various holdings on the Outer Rim, home to foundries, workshops, and barracks. The clan's territories closest to Mandalore itself, however, have recently come under attack due to infighting from other Mandalorian clans due to the instability left in the wake of the Empire's rise.

Known for their expertise with technology and hardware, clan Cabur is home to innovators and inventors, with centuries of experience in developing new weaponry and tactics to overcome their foes. Indeed, it’s not uncommon to see prototypes integrated into the armor of the clan’s warriors, either hand-made, or being field-tested on the behalf of a close relative or kinsman.

Rasaja's induction into the Cabur clan was arduous endeavor. Every day, the training grew harder, but she persevered. She learned more and more of the wider galaxy, and listened raptly to the tales of the clan as they told the history of heroes and great battles. Through it all, she was supported by the ones who'd found her, who'd extended their hands to her to help her rise up.

Zoran, a Chiss, the one who'd had the technical difficulty in the first place. He taught her what he knew of technology, always entertaining her ideas for devices, even if they didn't always work out.

Jabrek, Zoran's brother, a giant of a man, who had noticed the devices she wore when they'd first met. He, on the other hand, took responsibility for her physical training, pushing her to her limits, and teaching her how to surpass them.

Sahn, a human, the one who gave her the first reward. She took Rasaja under her wing, teaching her the Resol'nare, of Mandalorian culture and the language, Mando'a, and about the wider galaxy, regaling her with tales of their travels and stories of the clan's past.

Nao'mah, a Twi'lek, the one who saw her skulking in the shadows as Rasaja tailed them. She taught the girl how to fight dirty, how the galaxy really worked underneath all the holoscreen advertisements and towering cities, how to navigate the underground for information on a target, and get that information if people were being ... difficult.

They were a family, the first one that Rasaja had truly known. Through them, she learned what it meant to truly be Mandalorian: to protect one's family, to use one's strength to aid her brothers and sisters in the clan, and to live a life without regrets. Under their tutelage, she grew and flourished, passing the trials of adulthood and becoming a true Hunter of the clan.

As an adult, Rasaja joined her family on excursions, from bounties to mercenary work. She favored two particular fighting styles, melding them together into something that complemented her strengths and shored up her weaknesses. The first, Kyr'am Teh Jaon'kov, or "death from above" in Basic, emphasized mobility via jetpack, leveraging aerial maneuvers to remain unharmed while airborne. The second, Kebii'tra Keldab, or "sky citadel", utilized integrated weaponry, close combat techniques, and heavy armor to create a mobile bastion, an eye in the storm around which a formation could be centered. Through it all, with the encouragement and guidance of her family, Rasaja experimented, explored, and expanded her horizons, winning glory and honor for her clan, and living in the closest thing to paradise she could imagine.

But, of course, all good things come to an end.

The rise of the Empire was ... quiet, all things considered. In the wake of the end of the Clone Wars, the wider galaxy began to adjust to a time of instability, as the Empire consolidated itself, and began instituting policies of ... concerning nature. The humanocentric nature of the Empire made life harder for Zoran, Jabrek, and Nao'mah, oftentimes forcing them to wear their helmets for the entire time they were in public on Core worlds.

Regardless, the family stomached the changing times. It became harder and harder to find work that wasn't related to the Empire, in one way or another. While the rest of her family turned to internal matters in the clan, Rasaja stepped up, taking on more bounties and mercenary work to help support her family and clan in their endeavors, spending more and more time away from her home.

Even if working with the Empire rubbed her the wrong way, Rasaja reasoned, their credits were good, and as long as they left the clan alone, she didn't care. She started taking jobs from known Imperial-aligned fixers. At first she was picky, taking challenging targets, or refusing jobs if they felt more like someone asking for a thug to accompany a shakedown, rather than a proper hunt. Eventually, however, she came across a job from the Empire itself: hunting someone rumored to be a Jedi. The Jetii, as they were known in Mando'a, were considered to be the ancestral enemies of the Mandalorians. Furthermore, the Empire had declared the Jedi to be traitors, and sponsored bounties on them. Rasaja had always wanted to fight a Jedi, and so took the job without hesitation. The hunt ended up being a dud, but her actions did win her the attention of certain elements of the Empire. Eventually, she found more Imperial-aligned work, the credits being promised more than enough to fuel clan Cabur's continued existence.

Gritting her teeth, and swallowing her pride, Rasaja began working Imperial jobs more regularly. She found herself becoming more and more numb to the actions of the Empire. Every time rumors of a Jedi reared their head, however, she'd paid attention, anticipating how she'd measure up to her people's ancient foes. Every time, however, either the rumors were untrue, or someone else had gotten there first. A growing disappointment, twinned with the unease at the thought of continuing to work with the Empire, gnaws at her. But to someone like Rasaja, survival comes before morality. And so she continues to pursue her work.

Sometimes she wonders where her breaking point is. What will cause her to have had enough, what line will the Empire cross that will force her to do something?

But for now, the credits are good, and clan Cabur is untouched. That's enough. That has to be enough.

Likes, Dislikes, and Quirks

Likes

Combat. Rasaja is a warrior at heart, and loves nothing more than to test herself in the crucible of a fight. It is where she feels most "alive", her blood singing with the thrill of battle and the exaltation of the hunt. It's where every lesson she's learned, every kitbashed gadget she's made, and every iota of her experience gained comes to bear.

Technology. The other love of her life, Rasaja loves talking shop with other mechanics and techies, sharing what she's learned, and learning from them in turn. She's especially interested in weapons and armor, always on the lookout for a new project to start. Thanks to her tinkering, her armor and gear are as much a series of personal theses on mechanical design and engineering as they are protection and cultural icons.

Good Food & Drink. While not exactly a connoisseur of fine dining, Rasaja does have a discerning palate. She prefers a good ale, and food with some kick to it.

Music. From the drum beats of a Mandalorian war-song, to the synth notes of a quartet playing in a cantina, to the bass-boosted rhythm of the beat in a club on Coruscant, Rasaja enjoys sampling the acoustic arts from across the galaxy.

Flying. Especially with her jetpack. To Rasaja, it's the ultimate expression of freedom. There's a little part of her that never gets tired of the awe some have when they see her take flight.

Traveling. Seeing the world, meeting interesting people. Potentially getting into interesting fights with said people. The galaxy's a Sedri oyster for those who are brave enough to venture forth, and see it in all its glory... and all its horror. Both tend to make good stories.

Dislikes

Cowardice. There's a difference between picking your battles, and running away from a fight. Rasaja can respect someone who knows how to do the former; she's got nothing but contempt for the latter.

Shoddy Weaponry. Either weapons that have been poorly maintained, or just badly designed to begin with. The saying "weapons are a Mandalorian's religion", while not entirely accurate, isn't completely wrong. If you're trusting your life to a piece of equipment, it's worth the cost to get something that does its job well. Incidentally, don't get her started on the E-11.

Restrictive (Non-Protective) Clothing. Armor, at least, gives you protection in exchange for range of motion limitations. Some of the Core space fashion trends are ... weird, even by areutii standards.

Xenophobia. Having been raised by three non-humans, and immersed in a culture that truly accepts sentients from all walks of life, Rasaja takes a dim view on those that discriminate purely on speciest lines. There's plenty of valid reasons to shove a blaster in someone's face. What they were born as isn't one of 'em.

Micromanagement. Rasaja is a professional, and that means she'll do the job to the best of her ability. Someone breathing down her neck only hurts her ability to do said job. Any questions she asks are with the intent of clarification and context; hiding information could mean the difference between a bounty bagged, and a messy, brutal firefight with a target slipping out of her grasp.

TONE AND GOAL

In terms of the story I'd like to be a part of, I'd prefer if there was a good amount of action, especially with the Mandalorians being a warrior culture. At the same time, I've always been a sucker for the idea of a character grappling with their moral code as the world around them changes, for better or worse. The rise of the Empire and the Jedi purges, as well as doing the Empire's dirty work, feel like something that could work very well as a backdrop for that.

That being said, I'm flexible when it comes to the nature of the game, and especially when it comes to meshing with a party, including mechanical and backstory elements if needed. It's always better to have someone trustworthy watching your back, which is why Rasaja, while capable of operating solo, prefers to work with others, especially those she can vet, or come with a recommendation from a trusted employer/fixer.

Notable Belongings

Weaponry

  • Light Repeating Blaster - A customized Z-6 rotary blaster, etched with the Mando'a characters for "Skira". Capable of folding down and being stowed at nearly half its length when not in use. Usually connected to the power generator housed in Rasaja's armor for ammunition.
  • Vibrosword - A retractable long blade usually mounted on the outside of the left gauntlet, with the face of the blade parallel to the palm. Can be deployed via voice activation, or manually via mechanical release. Can also be detached and wielded as a hilted weapon.
  • Vibroknife - A standard, broad-bladed vibroknife, usually placed at the small of the back with its hilt right-ward.
  • Knife - Good old-fashioned tempered steel, in a compartment-holster on the right boot.
  • Heavy Blaster Pistol - A modified RSKF-44 Heavy Blaster Pistol, configured to be mounted on the right gauntlet of her armor, the trigger guard and grip folding into the weapon while the firing mechanism synchronizes with the armor's onboard computer system. Can be detached and wielded as a standard firearm if necessary.

heavyblasterpistol.jpeg.ec21e311fb8e4a017f3310c075881f5d.jpeg

  • Ion Rifle - Usually stored in a broken-down state on a back compartment of the armor, the ion rifle is deployed against a target that is partially or entirely cybernetic, or in order disable vehicles and other electronic devices.

Airtronic's Modernized 40mm China Lake Grenade Launcher

  • Flamethrowers - Twin ZX miniature flame projector units contained in the wrist gauntlets.
  • Rocket Launcher (jetpack) - A Z-6 model jetpack with integrated rocket launcher. The fact that both her favored weapon and her jetpack share the same designation is an annoying source of consternation to Rasaja.
  • Whistling Birds (Mando'a "Laaran Senaar") - A series of miniature, beskar-tipped rocket propelled munitions, loaded in a launcher on the left shoulder. 12/12 in launcher, with another 12 in a quick-load casing.
  • Grenades (various) - Carried in a bandolier, with the exception of the thermal detonators. Those get their own sealed compartment.
    • Frag x 3
    • Thermal detonator x 2
    • Stun grenade x 3
    • Gas grenade x 3

Armor & Armor Features

  • Mandalorian Beskar'gam - A Mandalorian's armor is as much a part of their person as their own flesh and blood, its distinctive design the symbol of a warrior diaspora united by a common culture. Each set of armor is customized to the wearer, and Rasaja's is no exception. Teal green plates of beskar are layered over a grey undersuit, providing substantial protection while still allowing the user a generous degree of freedom. Integrated within the helmet and backpack is an onboard computer, used to control the various modules and weapon systems, alongside a power generator used to fuel the arsenal of weapons housed within the armor or connected directly to the generator.
  • Mandalorian Jetpack - A Z-6 model jetpack, tweaked to compensate for the weight of the armor to which it is attached. While it looks well maintained, there's a number of scratches along its length. As Rasaja puts it, those remain as a "record of what it took to earn her wings."
  • Zoran's Vigilance "This? Just a little something I cooked up to help you find your way out there in the cold dark..." - A customized visor and onboard computer, with target tracking, zoom functionality, and limited spectrum filtering. Comes with an interfaced optimized for Rasaja's preferences and layout.
  • Jabrek's Resolve "We both know how banged up you tend to get, verd'ika. Hopefully, this'll keep you out of a bacta tank more often than not." - A suite of armor enhancements, including a vacuum seal, internal air tank, limited thermal regulation, and protective lining to better absorb impacts, both environmental and hostile in nature.
  • Sahn's Wisdom "No matter where you roam, no matter how far away you fly, I want to make sure you know how to find your footing ... and a way home." - A compilation of maps and star charts, filled with annotations on everything from cuisine, to conflict hotspots that may provide interesting work, alongside a curated selection of Mandalorian arts, literature, and music.
  • Nao'mah's Knowledge "Galaxy's a big place, vod. Full of all kinds of people. This should give you a leg up on them ... and hopefully stop you from losing a paycheck because you put your foot in your mouth." - A database of the species and cultures of the galaxy, from anatomy, to linguistics, to etiquette. Comes with recorded samples of the more common languages, including various curse words of escalating severity and explanations of context.

Miscellaneous

  • Computer spikes - Slicing toolkits.
  • Medkit - Medical supplies, organized and packed with a seeming priority to restore functionality as soon as possible, with a minimum of recovery time. Lots of bacta.
  • Weapon maintenance kit
  • Personal grooming supplies
  • Credit chip
  • Long-range commlink - Capable of holoprojection.
  • Personal Datapad
  • Binder Cuffs
  • Mesh tape - It's said some ships are held together by hope, prayers, and copious amounts of this industrial-strength adhesive tape.
  • Spare power packs/energy cells
  • Bes'bev - A flute-like Mandalorian windwood instrument, hefty enough to be used as a club, and with one point sharpened enough to act as a stabbing weapon if needed. Rasaja is surprisingly good with the instrument, and practices in her spare time between jobs.
  • Field kit
    • Water purifier
    • Sunshield
    • 1 week's worth of rations
    • Glow rods
    • Atmosphere preservation canister with filters

I would absolutely be down with that! I think the biggest question I have in that case is knowing how prevalent a faction the Rebellion is: whether it’s merely rumors of rumors, active sabotage, or full blown war at this point. Also how the Empire is treating Mandalorians at the moment, seeing as there’s ample cause later down the line for the Mandalorians to join up against the Empire.

I also need to figure out the details on what clan Cabur is doing in this era, since this character was originally made for a KOTOR/SWTOR-era game.

As a note, I’m also perfectly fine with making her more light-neutral grey if it would be work for the story (ie the Rebellion in full swing). Given the pitch above, however, if you think what I’ve got for her works as is, I’ll run with it!

If you have nothing in particular in mind, you can use the preexisting lore as a guideline: Any members in or around Mandalore were probably mired in infighting among the various clans.

@AdellRazh I think I've settled on the general shape for Rasaja's sheet. Putting my thoughts below on the what and why behind my decision, since I'm still a bit unsure about a few things and would love your suggestions.

Going to preface this by saying I am a bit unsure about how the scale of the dice works, in terms of total pool and the like. This system is entirely new to me, and I'm still feeling out where things lie.

Body 3 and Co-ord 4, and their accompanying skills represent both her conditioning and training when it comes to moving in her armor. I'll admit I may have tried to compensate too hard for the Co-ordination penalty imposed by the armor by putting the primary skills (Heavy weapons, blasters) as high as they are. Jetpacking and Flamethrower, meanwhile, I feel somewhat justified for, given the inherent danger in operating those pieces of equipment. If they're going to be employed by someone, that person should likely know how to use them well, and what to do in order to prevent things from ending catastrophically.

Sense 3, to again compensate for the armor penalty imposed by the helmet. Understandably, your vision is restricted, so learning where your blind spots are and compensating for that is pretty important. One question comes to mind, while we're on the topic: do the penalties applied by armor act as effective penalties in all calculations, such as for action declaration order?

Brains 4. Rasaja got where she is because she had a talent for assimilating and applying information in a way that worked. That talent has since been honed and trained extensively. It's what let her survive on that backwater station, it's what earned her the attention of the Mandalorians, and it's what lets her thrive in her admittedly hazardous line of work. Her skills also represent this. I'd imagine she'd be offered work for consultation and training for planetary militaries and private companies, both for technical skills as well as combat, and the intersection between them. Of course, she prefers a job where she's actually doing things, rather than one teaching people how to do things. Language wise, while her Basic and Mando'a are fluent, her grasp of Huttese is decent enough for her to get by, and her grasp of Binary is entirely because her astromech droid Bee-Tee is often the only companion she has on those long hyperspace voyages.

Command 2. Ultimately Rasaja isn't a charismatic leader or smooth-talker. In typical Mandalorian fashion, she's blunt and to the point in both her speech and behavior. If she needs to lead, she does so by example. If she's required to be in a command position, she's best in an advisory or NCO-style role, usually with a small team; someone who can see the bigger picture, know what their place is in it, and position their team where they're required in order to push things forward.

Cool 4. This is the one I'm most unsure about. While I do think it makes sense for Rasaja to have an unflappable demeanor, especially when it comes to staying calm under fire, this would be the third stat at 4. I could potentially shift it over to Command, or pick up some more skills and/or another language. Otherwise, Streetwise for making sure those friends in low places are actually friends and have the information you need, as well as Stability for not panicking when the blaster bolts start flying make sense to me.

The sheet should be accurate in terms of CP allocation, but I'll go back and double check to be sure.

I also had a few thoughts on the Beskar'gam, as well as personalization and upgrades.

Armor Stuff

I'll admit I'm a bit disappointed that something as iconic as the Mandalorian Beskar'gam wouldn't be any different than bog standard armor. I'm curious what you had in mind for it.

I did have a few potential suggestions of my own though, primarily upping the AR to 5, and potentially reducing the Penetration of weapons, including lightsabers. Removing the Sense penalty might also be something to consider, though that would admittedly go against the grain.

For the other personalizations, I've put my thoughts below. If this would be too much I can always make them fluff-only, but it would be neat to have them have a tangible effect on Rasaja's capabilities.

- Zoran's Vigilance: Grants Low-light vision and/or darkvision while the helmet is worn.

- Jabrek's Resolve: Life support system, vacuum seal, and heat/cold resistance.

- Sahn's Wisdom: Essentially a "toolkit" for starship and planetary navigation, as well as Mandalorian/mercenary lore.

- Nao'mah's Knowledge: A sort of bootleg adaptive translation software/facial analysis program. I'll admit I had the base mechanics for language in mind when I thought of this but I still like the idea.

Would like to hear what you think!

Yes.

I think bumping Command to 3 is the correct call. While she might not be any kind of Leader of Men, Rasaja is a Mandalorian (and, based on your description, enormous). She says jump, and a lot of people simply will.

While that will give her a really high suite of stats, I suspect that Rasaja will take on an antagonistic role towards the rest of the party for a lot longer than Tree, so having her be a bit of a terrifying brick wall of capability isn't too concerning.

How many Whistling Birds do you have? The intent with the rules I gave them is that they are countable.

Hmmm … I’d say 24, enough for two full salvos. I’d imagine they’re her ace in the hole in case she’s fighting multiple opponents in something like an ambush.
