Rumguzzle Posted February 25 Clone Share Posted February 25 Greetings everyone. Thought I would say hi and get to know the site a little better by introducing myself. I am a long-time roleplayer who started with Basic and Expert D&D and have played a wide variety of games over the years. I typically am game master more than player, prefer running homebrew over published (even though there are a lot of great published modules out there), love worldbuilding and story over mechanics and rule lawyering. I usually run long-term campaigns; currently running a Castles & Crusades campaign and just ended a Call of Cthulhu game. I have self-published a few modules as well. As a player I am more interested in helping add to the story than just playing to my stats. Really enjoy the flaws, taking a setback and turning it into something fun and memorable. Enjoy being a part of the team and taking more of a back seat as a break from doing it all as a GM. I have played PBP for a few years on another site and joined Myth Weavers hoping to find a more stable and engaging community.
Powderhorn Posted February 26 Clone Share Posted February 26 I think you'll find everything you're looking for here. MW has been around for years, and, well, I think we're engaging. We have a Discord too if we're not engaging enough :D Basic & AD&D will definitely get some traction here. There is a small but mighty contingent of grognards, and if you run something, you certainly won't want for players. Happy to have you!
