As she got older she took on more duties and when she turned 12 she started her training, she loved her teachers and was a good pupil. She particularly enjoyed fighting the undead, she hates them with a passion. The local temple had many requests to investigate "haunted" graveyards, so there she had plenty of practice. When she went out with one of the clerics to a report of strange goings on at an abandoned waystation, once there they started to look for signs of life. They found a secret door which led to a basement complex of a long-forgotten cult, there was some equipment left and even some gold which the temple would use to help the poor. they thought they had finished when out of the blue a ghoul attacked Trixie but she fought it and the cleric turned it which allowed them to destroy it. The experience only fortified her belief that what she was doing was right, she would fight evil in all forms to protect the innocent and weak. He never knew his parents. He was going to be trained as a druid but never found the calling. Instead one of the scouts who protected the grove, menaris, trained him to be a ranger. After becoming a Ranger he decided to strike out on his own. He worked as a guide and a caravan guard. He eventually met up with Lem and they worked with several caravan routes and became good friends. The last caravan stop arrived in Granary. They both heard of the call and decided to help out. Balldanor Posted March 27 Clone Share Posted March 27 (edited) Overview Name: Thorgill Ulfredsson Player: Balldanor Race: Human Class: Fighter Alignment: NG Appearance Thorgill is a large, muscular man, standing 6'6 and weighing 250 pounds, with a long scar down his right cheek, and another just above his left eye, not to mention the numerous scars from sword and axe blades crisscrossing his torso and arms. Strangely, his scars seem to make him appear more attractive rather than less. His long, blond hair that falls to his shoulders is typically tied back in a knot, as is his long beard that is braided down to his chest, and his bright blue eyes alternate showing joy outside of combat and ferocity in a fight. His typical attire consists of brown linen clothing, with heavy, magical banded mail (+2), in which he moves with surprising ease from long practice and training. A vast array of weapons can be found on his person, from a massive +3 two-handed sword strapped to his back, a longsword sheathed at his side, a dagger tucked into each side of his belt, and a number of javelins tucked into the loops on the side of his pack (not to mention the shield strapped to the outside of his pack for quick access if his two-hander isn't available). Horse stabled at the inn back in (forgot name of town) Background Thorgill grew up with a local barbarian tribe about 1-2 days hike outside of Water Deep, and was the strongest fighter in his tribe before setting off on his own to seek adventure. He served as a mercenary with some roving groups, most notably The Steadfast Guardians, where he was kicked out for alledgedly stealing a woman from a fellow mercenary after a raid (the actual truth was he was stopping the merc from raping the poor girl because she looked like his younger sister), and wandered the Realms for a while before meeting up with the current crew. It was he who taught him the ways of being a forester and how to listen to the forest and heed its call, if there ever was one. He provided wood for the townsfolk and could easily be found going out to the woods on a daily basis. He didn't care for civilization on a large scale. Mart was eventually exposed to corruption within his own village and the incoming people from larger cities. He was displaced and found himself on the road with M....Leo. He isn't sure that Leo is his friend or just someone who knows more about what is going on in the world that he has clung to. Now he has attached himself to this new group, and he is still wary of them. Some seem like good enough folk, but he is holding his tongue until he see's their true character.
