Caffeine11 Posted April 18 Author Clone Share Posted April 18 Drezghl's Orc heritage is traced back to the Severed Hand tribe in the Crystal Mist Mountains. He was taken from his mother and raised by a tribal shaman in hopes that his human side would allow Drezghl to grow into a powerful spell caster. In order to help Drezghl channel the mystical energy required to become a shaman, he was forced to endure hours crude and painful of tattooing. By the time he was 12, it was apparent that this was not the case and he was cast out into the tribe at large without the protection of the shaman. Left to his own devices, Drezghl was eventually forced to leave the tribe due to the the harsh treatment he received from many of the brutal and cruel tribe members. One night he broke into the tribal leaders hut with the intent to grab anything he could to sustain him on his journey. He ended up grabbing a short glaive that sat in a corner collecting dust along with a canvas bag with some food and a few odds and ends. He was caught on the way out of the village and was unfortunately forced to kill a sentry to escape. The tribe sent out a hunting party to capture and kill him. Drezghl ran for days and after a couple of close calls, the hunters gave up. To this day, the name Drezghl is cursed among the Severed Hand Tribe. Over the next couple of years, Drezghl found himself wandering east towards Keoland. Mainly, he lived off of the land but occasionally worked as a laborer in mines or logging to get a bit of coin to get by. Over time, he pieced together some armor and weapons and began to hire on as a caravan guard. He found it to be well suited to his temperament. Things weren't as strict as a town guard and not as seedy as working as a bouncer or enforcer for a gang. The more casual nature of the job allowed him to work on his self discipline and professionalism. He eventually got better jobs as his reputation grew.
