wrathgon Posted May 1, 2023 Author Clone Share Posted May 1, 2023 Sensors would have trouble with various aspects of the ship. While many of your systems could be picked up, they’d probably register as non-functional or unidentifiable, depending on the quality of the scan. They really hard ones to identify would by your D-drive, your white hole power core, and your sensors (which themselves are multi-phase and technomagical). Incidentally, planar spider sensors would not have trouble identifying techomagic in return, as per normal rules. wrathgon Posted May 28, 2023 Author Clone Share Posted May 28, 2023 Actually traveling through a dimension gate is easy, but changing the setting is more complex. A character must succeed on a Navigate check (DC 30) to reset the gate to a known destination; setting the gate to an unknown (but safe) destination is a DC 40 Navigate check. (These checks should be rolled secretly.) Performing either check requires 30 minutes of calibration. Of course, if the destinations have been preset, any character can change the settings as a move action without making a check.
