Seems like they could just wander into town or be written in there as it is. At any rate, I vote 2 or 3 as well, leaning towards 2 since one of the three current characters is GM run. So if you want to speed up the game, just say it. I actually have less free time than i had when I started this game, but I can maintain it as long as people want to play.
