SHIP: Engine room

Like the rest of the ship, the engine room is very alien. Crystals cover what you identify as the ion drive. Everything is in some strange language you cannot read it will take a while to label all the buttons and levers so you can work in this engine room. As you go over the drive, you come across a whole extra part that should not be there. Unlike the rest of ship, it is not crystal-based but some form a liquid metal as you touch it your handprint forms in the metal then after a minute it disappears. This is not the same tech and you are not sure what it even is! It is attached to the ion drive with some liquid metal wire-like strands but it's even harder to work out how to turn it on. You cant even find a power source! Thick wires snake up and into the ceiling leading somewhere else in the ship.

 

 

Already Discovered:

D Drive (TL 8), the liquid metal object is a jump drive that allows the ship to cross the planar boundary into any plane connected to the one you are on. It is not the same tech as the rest of the ship

 

Space Spiders language: You are now able to read the language and find out that the race is a merchant space spider race that travels across planes and galaxies trading with any that will trade.

 

White Hole Generator( TL 11+) A small ball stuck into the back guts of the room is apparently a trapped and contained White Hole where the energies that are coming out from the other side are being used for power. Normally the ship does not need anywhere close to the output other than when time jumping.

 

Trans temporal time stop Drive (TL11+) Not house here but a ring around the ship. When we start the jump all power is drained for 5 min as the count-down to the jump starts. When the timer hits 0 all time stops and the ship moves through space to the point plotted. It seems the counter hits 0 and then counts back up to 5 within those 10 mins ships is actually moving through time stops space it is how the human brain explains moving while time stopped.
