Nauseated

(This is a perfect example of what I mean!)

 

Nauseated used to be a condition, but isn’t anymore in 5e. So, for our purposes, “nauseated” will mean that you take your actions with disadvantage, and your movement is cut in half.

Round 2, rolling melee spell attack for Inflict Wounds.

Sticking on the damage roll even though I didn't hit, just because I want to see what it would have been. I'd have made that thing deader than a doornail because the 37 would have doubled to 74 from vulnerability, but at least the way it worked, the rest of the party got to help take it down.

Rolling up a perception check on the crawler corpse for loot or anything else of interest. Am assuming someone will use something long and thinnish to aid the search and thus grant advantage.
