Growing up in close communion with the natural world, Caradoc found solace and purpose amidst the whispering trees and the songs of the creatures that inhabited the forests. From an early age, Caradoc displayed an innate talent for nurturing and tending to plant life. The druidic orders of the Eldeen Reaches recognized this gift and welcomed him into their fold. Under the guidance of the venerable druids, Caradoc honed his skills as a gardener and herbalist, learning the secrets of cultivating and harnessing the power of the natural world. However, as Caradoc grew older, he felt a calling to expand his horizons beyond the boundaries of his homeland. Drawn by tales of the magnificent city of Sharn, with its towering spires and bustling streets, Caradoc embarked on a journey to bring his expertise and love for nature to the heart of urban civilization. Upon arriving in Sharn, Caradoc secured a position as an apprentice gardener within the city's sprawling landscape. His duties included tending to rooftop gardens and nurturing small green spaces in Skysedge Park. He found a community of like-minded druidic immigrants in this part of the City of Spires. It was during his time in Sharn that Caradoc encountered an extraordinary Leshy—a nature spirit bound to the essence of a vibrant flowering vine. The Leshy, named Thorn, recognized Caradoc's unwavering devotion to nature and became his loyal familiar and companion. Together, Caradoc and Thorn formed a deep bond, their connection a testament to the harmony between the civilized world and the untamed wilderness. As Caradoc tended to the city's green areas, he grew increasingly troubled by the misuse of nature's powers within Sharn's innovative infrastructure. The exploitation of elemental forces and the disregard for the balance of the natural world troubled his soul. Caradoc became an advocate for change, seeking alternative solutions, and working to raise awareness about the importance of sustainable practices and the preservation of green spaces. Driven by his love for nature and his desire to restore balance to Sharn, Caradoc became an environmental activist. He organized peaceful demonstrations, collaborated with like-minded individuals, and sought to expose those responsible for the misuse of natural beings. During the Last War During the Last War Caradoc found himself torn between his love for nature and the conflicts ravaging the lands of Khorvaire. While not a seasoned warrior, Caradoc's unwavering dedication to the natural world drove him to take action. Instead of directly participating in the military efforts, Caradoc utilized his botanical knowledge and affinity for nature to provide support to those affected by the war. He acted as a healer, using his herbalist knowledge and druidic abilities to tend to wounded soldiers and civilians. He focused on creating salves, potions, and poultices from natural ingredients to alleviate pain, cure ailments, and promote recovery. It is a very interesting character concept here, which I will probably put into my concept database (which is in my head).
