Chapter 1: By the Pricking of my thumb....

Creed continues to drain his victim, who is know very close to death (11pts lost total)

Kerapsis continues his killing streak, badly wounding the last squire standing

Brandisher gives the Paladin a taste of his own smiting medicine channeling unholy energy into an effective blow.

Molgrug hopes no-one notices his ability to miss a helpless opponent 3 times as he exhorts his bandit minions to continue their efforts. Sadly even with a flanking bonus they are pretty much useless. Turns out their opponents are also having a bad round, adding 2 more misses to the roster.

Round 8, your turns. Brandisher has flanking advantage

He holds the man still and drains him dry.

Combat's pretty much done, think we will move on....

The last of the paladin party falls. There is a moment of eerie silence after the recent violence, then the violence resumes as the fiends surrender their base desire that has been mounting all this time, they fall upon the recently fallen, consuming flesh bone and in some cases spirit, before promptly falling into an insensate stupor. While Creed is simply unconscious, the other more fiendish fiends actually pupate, their outer skin hardening into a crystalline substance as they step into their next evolution.

An unknown time later, the group arouse from their slumber, with most cracking thin shells to emerge. They find themselves in a large, clearly underground, stone room.

Everyone (including the new people) levels up to 2!

The savory flesh of the paladins is exquisite on Brandisher's tongue! A complex flavor of righteousness, virtue and unwavering faith - it is like a feast after starving in the desert.

Even so, he feels in no danger of over-eating, no matter how he gorges himself. The flesh and soul-stuff is instantly consumed in the fiendish furnace of his being... and transferred into raw power!
