Firefox - Open different page as new tab

I noticed this this morning -

Normally, ctrl-click in Mozilla Firefox opens a new tab.

However, when ctrl-clicking on the page numbers of a thread, , it just switches to that other page.

I'd expect this to work consistently to other links on the site.

Right click - open link in new tab does work.

I have noticed this as well. It is only a problem if you are actually viewing the topic/thread. It works correctly (opens in a new tab) when you are viewing a topics tab with a list of topics/threads and want to click on a topic/thread using page numbers.

Chrome has the exact same behavior.

It’s out of the box behavior, and to be honest it’s bothered me before but I didn’t put it on the board to work. Queued.
