Narissa is tall and slender, with silvery, metallic hair, fair and flawless skin, and blue eyes.  Her voice is husky and low in pitch, and she has a tendency to hum to herself to settle her nerves.  She wears a cloak wrapped closely around herself, with the hood drawn over her face, unless she knows those she is with.
 
Narissa was sent to a monastery of Mystra when her sorcerous abilities began to manifest, as the small village near Baldur's Gate where she was born could not cope with the dangers of her uncontrolled fire bolts.  Narissa has learned through study and contemplation at the monastery to deal with her inherited magic, but the effort has left her rather timid, afraid of blasting forth uncontrolled.  She lacks self-confidence, forcing herself into adventuring as she feels she is destined to combat some great evil, and must prepare herself, gaining allies and experience.

Personality Traits:
I connect everything that happens to me to some vast cosmic plan.  I often get lost in contemplation, becoming oblivious to my surroundings.

Ideal:
My gifts are meant to be shared with all, not used for my own benefit

Bond:
My isolation gave me great insight into a great evil that only I can destroy.  However, I tried to do it too soon, and now I need to prepare myself more fully.

Flaw:
I'd risk too much to uncover a lost bit of knowledge, but I would hesitate and worry before venturing..

Specialty:
Narissa wants to keep as far as possible from danger and avoid being targeted by enemies.  However, she feels a great responsibility toward her fellow adventurers and will even venture into danger if needed to save them.
