Special Abilities: Elves have infravision (heat-sensing sight) and can see 60 feet in the dark. When looking for secret or hidden doors, elves are able to find them one-third of the time (a roll of 1 or 2 on Id6). Elves cannot be paralyzed by the attacks of ghouls.

@Eric Are there encumbrance rules or strength minimums for armor? An elf might make me a bit more survivable (although no proficiency bonus and slower progression...) and give a few more abilities, but if I can't actually wear armor due to having a 4 strength, it's less useful.
