Myth Weavers Meetup Kalamazoo '22 is coming at the end of June!


Myth Weavers Meetup is a day and a half long gaming event in Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA, with planned time slots for Game Masters to run one shot adventures, a board game table, and room for any card games such as Magic: The Gathering.

 

General Details

Date: Saturday, June 25, 2022 thru Sunday, June 26, 2022

Badges are $50 USD for both days, or $30 for Sat. only or $20 for Sun only. Signing up to run a game (please provide concept to staff for access) will give a $5 USD refund.

Children under 18 are allowed so long as they attend with an adult who remains during the event and are not disruptive to others.

Location: VFW Red Arrow Post 1527 (Google Maps Link)

Doors open at 9:00AM local time and scheduled game sessions begin at 10:00AM local time. Please be on time to begin play at the appropriate time.

 

Gaming Details

Interested in running a session? Upon registration you will be added to the MWM 2022 forum located here!

If a GM for one of your sessions is not doing pre-made characters, please coordinate character creation with them before the event. In the interest of time and maximizing the amount of gaming, character creation is not factored into the gaming time slots.

Dice, rulebooks, paper, character sheets, etc. will not be provided. You must bring your own copies of these items.

DM/GM/Storytellers should bring their own DM screens, battlemats, miniatures, etc.

Myth-Weavers site rules apply to all games (language rule relaxed).

Cosplay is allowed and encouraged, but weapons (whether faux/costume or not) are not allowed. This will also be enforced at the bag check.

Board games, Magic: The Gathering and other card games, and other play-on-demand games will not be provided by the event but will have space set aside for them. Please feel free to bring your own.

 

Leisure Info

Smoking is allowed outdoors in designated areas only. This includes electronic cigarettes, “vapes”, and other similar devices.

Alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages are available from the Post bar via a serving window. IDs will be checked when ordering alcoholic drinks.

Food at the venue may be happening with a pre-set menu, still being determined. Additionally GrubHub, DoorDash, and Uber Eats are available and there are multiple restaurants within short walking distance of the event.

Please do not bring outside alcohol into the venue. Alcohol will be available for sale at the venue. There will be a bag check at badge pickup to ensure this is followed.

IMPORTANT NOTE
Registration is capped at 60 people. In the event of additional interest, a wait list will be established. Registration will be closed two weeks prior to the event.
