A help feature next to the die roll options would be really helpful.

What are "legal" roll strings for the table or the command line options? What options are available for me to roll multiple dice at once, of any? Can I roll to hit and damage in the same roll like I can in OGMW? Can I add rolls together? What is the available logic that I can apply to a roll, if any? Can I label rolls better? Can I have the option of setting a DC and a roll and just seeing if I succeed or fail and if I succeed can I then roll damage?

These should all be (or need to be added, identifying anything missing or unclear in a new thread in Feedback would be really helpful so we can expand it!) already present in the Dice Tower help page, but adding a link to the help page on the side in the Dice Tower window may be a possibility.

  2. Currently it’s a global setting for posts per page. We have it on our requests list (along with a few other small items) to make that user-configurable, but it’ll require a plugin to make that happen if it looks viable (I can’t speak to viability, that’s programmer territory).

  3. Ah, I think we’ve just got a slight disconnect on how Game Ads translated to Baldr. The Advertisements section is no longer a forum like it is on OGMW, and the way it is laid out is part of Invision. Games are what would normally be called Clubs in the basic Invision framework, and the Advertisements section is part of that setup. We’ve tweaked the Advertisements section behavior slightly with custom add-ins, but I can’t speak to having a “new ad” type of notification. Eric will need to answer that one.

hopefully I don't have to resort to printing 😄

You’d need to get seduced tricked coerced sold on getting a 3D printer first. 😛

Might be easier to target your eldest with such ideas instead though, then she can print you things…

  5. The groove joint should be fine, I was going to be doing a similar project this summer until our new pup decided the ottoman is her dog bed in the living room.

For the corner joint for the frame, you could do a splined miter joint (or two or three of them) if you wanted it together a bit better (and also can look a bit fancy) than just a miter joint with glue. Seconding Shocker, using Titebond 2 or 3 or Gorilla Wood Glue is going to have the wood fail before the glue fails. With the groove joint glued up as well, the miter joints will hold together just fine.

  6. So I got sick of dealing with the X-Acto knife box, and designed a gridfinity system-based hobby knife and blade storage holder, complete with press fit holes in the bottom for 6 x 2 mm disc magnets to retain it in a gridfinity grid if desired.

The stl and a parameter-driven F3D (Fusion 360 file) are available here on Printables.com for anyone that wants to print one or modify and print one, since plenty of us do stuff with minis and modeling.

Also, video primer on the gridfinity system for those unfamiliar!

  7. While what you’re talking about isn’t off the table, the important thing to keep in mind is that it is outside the defined scope for the initial launch. Not a paranoia thing on our part either; sanitizer settings are mostly default state currently.

It’s on the tracker, but a deeper evaluation of the sanitizer settings is something that won’t really get attention for a few more months (end of March ‘23 tentatively for launch).
