fair I accept your ruling for #1 & #2 on all parts but will inform you, its listed in rules in this group right now at the moment under magic weapons and armor properties posted by i know you said you dont care and approved it anyway so thankyou, but its written in your rules, plz change it or look. I for my part will try to mark where things are located so we can avoid this in the future, however the way you responded with "I guess I dont care" feels like a flippant dismissal, im not sure if you are dismissing th hassle or job of moderator, as I know its stressful, but personally it felt like you were dismissing me there, I hope thats not the case but it felt rather personal given our length dms in the old server tryin to work out our corse non-matching personalities.

Hello ty for the welcome back, good to see you too. 1) fair but your express rules in your group says it changes with you as part of a change shape/polymorph ability 2) would yo allow me to keep aspects of a template my pc actually has, example if i create a half-dragon planetar, can i change shape into a pure human or half-dragon human at will, so long as it doesnt exceed my number of forms i can take of corse, which for planetar is unlimited i might add. Id even take having to keep the dragon template as looking into change shape as per SRD "A creature with this special quality has the ability to assume the appearance of a specific creature or type of creature (usually a humanoid), but retains most of its own physical qualities." Followed later by " Changing shape results in the following changes to the creature: The creature retains the type and subtype of its original form. It gains the size of its new form." Theres a lot a lot more too it than that but long story short, since id still have the template as i keep the subtype which is granted by the template, and it gains the natural weapons of that form, which is non-functioning wings but planetars can fly with their planetar speed if the new form has wings so null point, but the natural weapons of the template would transfer, just not the 2 slam of the planetar which is 1d6 dm wereas the template gives 1d6 or 1d8 2 slams if sized medium or large, plus more, though i would lose breath weapon of the new form but keep it from the original so long story short id keep the template stuff in its entirety but not all the planetar stuff. 3) thankyou 4) yes he did ty again

let me answer and explain further 1) okay fair my point was more because im going to buy one above my character size but sizing says it switchs with me so i didnt know how thatd work 2) medium armor as well, or heavy armor thats mithral which is my plan, as that counts as medium for all purposes 3) no constantly but i have 3 forms, my true form, my human form which will be teen, young adult so 18ish and so that theres 0 issues a full nearly 30 equivalent elf 4) no i mean monkey grip with exotic weapon prof to let you one hand the bastard sword as platinum makes allows you to use a weapon two handed instead of one as a martial same as the bastardsword without the feat, monkey grip lets you treat a two handed weapon as a one handed, so itd go two handed to one handed from the exotic feat, back to two handed from special material known as platinum back to one handed from monkey grip, and then if it stays one size larger than me despite the size changing property, then itll go back to two handed, by that long process the og weapon dm should become 4d6 if ive mathd right Additional note, my plans were not uncommon in the original myth-weavers group on the old site, i used it there commonly, but ive never done it with sizing which is where the question comes in sorry for any confusion

So a handful of questions 1) The approved Weapon & Armor Property known as "Sizing" allows the weapon to size up when the character does, however let me pose a hypothetical. Say you are a large creature thanks to progression, however you use a racial ability to morph into a small or medium creature as you can with several abilities, such as 'Planetars' "change shape" ability. If you become a small and buy a Medium weapon, when you revert to your normal size, large, would the sword go upto your size? Or would it move up the same number of sizes you do, so still to a size bigger than you can handle? 2) Sizing for armor allows it to change size, but lets say a pc is a large sized Planetar with a fly speed, and i have the Half-Dragon Template, which allows you to fly as long as your size large. The speed of Half-Dragon is better than Planetar, so my question is, if you use change shape to become a medium or small sized creature with the templates features, which you get to choose which to keep, would you allow the player to use the fly speed of planetar in small and medium creature forms and the half dragon speed in large size forms? as planetars size change allows you to keep your planetar fly speed in forms with wings, and you can choose with change shape to keep the template feature of wings, but they cant fly through the template in size small or medium, so can i still use the planetar speed which is lesser in the smaller size forms? 3) if #2 is denied, that will bring up the following problem, as you cannot with the planetar change shape, keep armor equipped if you go from humanoid to non-humanoid armor, and while this can be explained away with a simple "I keep the claws and fangs of the template" it logically doesnt explain how the slots for wings will work if i cant keep the wings in lesser forms. 4) Final Question, for now, if i make a platinum bastardsword that is sized large with monkey grip feat, will that bypass the need for exotic weapon proficiency and thus allow the bastardsword to be made of platinum, as you need a martial weapon with exotic weapon feat to use that material, youd use 2 feats, one to gain proficency with the sword base, and monkey grip which grants a -2 to hit but allows you to use one less handedness with a sword, instead of one feat for say a exotic longsword with no negative to hit, is that permitted? its effectively a feat and -2 to hit for a net gain of changing 2d8 into 4d6 if im reading it right
