Writer-Player enjoying post-by-forums a lot, with the format allowing me to engage in my preferred craft and play with my peers.

The kind of character builds I currently enjoy the most has evolved to one primary interest - backend support as force multiplier to the team by providing battlefield control during combat and utility spells during adventuring & exploration, while offering supplemental healing.

I had enjoyed playing monks, grapplers and other unarmed combatants with hearty constitutions and agile bodies, so that has continued to remain as part of my builds for characters who do not need babysitting from the team, but in no way claiming to be great at dealing climatic damage to enemies. Damage is mostly from spells, and even so, more of a secondary moderate amount, with the spells focusing on large area of control that brings effects onto enemies.

From experience, majority of players build reliable characters who are variations of fighters, combat casters, urban infiltrators, or medical professionals. It is fitting that my support controller helps cover the situational gaps in the team's skillsets or empower the roles they hold.
