    With the healing energy, Nera knew the kids would survive. She knew the basics of binding wounds, but this was faster, easier and more sure.

    "She's probably a halfling," she said, "I noticed something strange before, but I didn't connect all the dots at that time. The others probably are just kids."

    She looked at the halfling, lowering her shield and axe a bit, but still keeping them ready.

    "Start talking. What kind of scam is this?"

    "Good to know we have someone who knows the lay of the land. And we can always swing by after our mission, time permitting. I think we best go through Newvale again and then move further, skirting around those swamps, as they would most likely be impossible to cross with a wagon."

    With the adults all dead, Nera moved closer, but didn't attack.

    "Surrender now and we will not harm you further," she called out to the kids, hissing to show a bunch of very sharp teeth. She held her weapon ready, just in case.

    Darhana isn't too sure, but if they are to proceed, they probably have to. When it's her turn, she offers her left upper arm as it would be easier to hide and she still held weapons in her lower arms, something she didn't really want to draw too much attention to. As she saw the symbol, she too tried to remember who it was associated with.

    If the cult is associated with undead, I have a +2 and a +4 for evil outsiders (if favoured enemy counts in this).

    Chalia looked quite impressive with her full plate and her big sword and she hoped that this was perceived as competent.

    With the next mission locked in, Chalia also went shopping. Getting a good horse, better armour and a compass for navigating in the wild, she also gets a good bow and some arrows, just in case they need a ranged option. While she's not the best archer, she has trained with bows and she's certain it will help, for instance in case they need to make a sound strategical and tactical retreat.

  8. I think it's cheaper to get 1 person tents instead of a 4 person tent (8sp x5 is 4gp and a 4 person tent is 5gp).

     

    Also I can contribute some money towards the cart (say 2gp), but I'm not sure if we're there yet.

    Nera grabbed her shield as well and chopped at the next one, the one between her and Daergrim. Then she stepped back to avoid being flanked herself.

    Darhana doesn't hesitate and steps in behind Neskas. Using his smaller statue, she levels her bow and fires over him on the skellie with the armour and the greatsword.

    "Stay here and let them come one by one," she calls out to Neskas, before shouting to the others who are further still, "SKELIES, HELP OUT."

    Ignoring the door for now, Vri moved cautiously forward, checking for traps along the way and having a look around the corner. If there was nothing there, she would wait for the others to come closer as well, before using the card thingy on this door to see if it works.

    works for me. And as we already have two horses, the cost for the wagon shouldn't be much more than two extra horses would normally cost. And we can keep our bag of holding in the wagon unless we have to move away from it.

    It does mean we can't go far in the wilderness as a wagon wouldn't be able to go as far as a horse can go (a human on foot can go further of course).

  16. I'm sure there's ponies, even though it's not really mentioned in the books as far as I can see. Well, we can just assume there is. Might also be something for Maybell.

     

    And indeed, we still have the gold from the books. Yeah, I'm richer than I thought.

  17. Everybody can carry it, as it has a specific bulk no matter how much you put in.

     

    Another question: are we going to get horses or not?

  18. Okay, I've gone through the list and I think I have my purchases listed for GM approval.

    -my part of a bag of holding (15 gp), only if everybody participates

    -composite shortbow with 40 arrows (14 gp, 2 sp)

    -tent (8 sp)

    -full plate armour (30 gp)

    -compass (1 gp)

    -riding horse (8 gp)

    -selling my breastplate armour (according to the rules it's half price to sell something, so 4 gp)

    in total that's 65 gp of stuff, leaving me with 4 gp.

  21. For the shopping, would everybody agree to a bag of holding for the group? The type 1 version costs 75 gp, that's 15 per person.

    I have an issue with my sheet at the moment, so I can't check what I want (or need).
