  1. F***ing A! That's great news! Happy to have you back,
  2. GM Interjection Since you guys made your stealth checks and the enemies are still distracted going after their current quarry, I'm going to let you guys stealthily reposition yourselves (those that want to) unopposed. Since you're performing an ambush on an unsuspecting opponent, this is technically a surprise round. Go ahead and take your single standard or move/move-equivalent action to kick things off. Also, let me know where you're moving to, so I can update the map.
  3. I'm surprised that I didn't recognize them her

No!" Calyx shouts. Angered at the senseless loss, and at himself for leading the group into this deathtrap, the warpriest takes out his ire on the nearest undead monstrosity, wanting to protect his friends and, more importantly, live long enough to make Ol' Vanthie regret every malign choice that he's made. OOC: 5' step (if necessary). STD: Attack with dagger. MIRROR IMAGE (1 image): Round 2 of 2.
  5. Of course Mindcrime beat me to it. I feel like there's a kind of poetic justice in that.
  6. Yup. I really thought Starbase Yorktown would've been sufficiently obscure. Nothing about that image particularly screams Star Fleet.
  7. This should be easy. I can't stand rockin' when I'm in this place Because I feel disgrace because you're all in my face But make no mistakes and switch up my channel I'm Buddy Rich when I fly off the handle
  8. Alright, nerds. This is either going to be really difficult or really easy.
  9. Seven Days to the Grave - Habus Underground - Wererat Hooligan Lair: Room 1 "We're done!" the lead wererat spits. "We're done with you topsiders comin' down here and beatin' us down every time somethin' goes wrong up there!" The other wererats join in, hissing in support and agreement. "Last warning before things goes bad." He stand at the edge of the crude channel of sewage that marks the midway point of the room. At his feet, the dire rats' attention is focused solely on the dwarf, mouths agape and slavering, waiting for the order to attack. Outnumbered six-to-one, and he hasn't even seen Girrigz or whoever else he's got in the back room yet, Habus finds himself rethinking the choices that lead him to this juncture. These next few moments may be the most important moments of his life. Game Mechanical/Mastery Stuff Wererat Intimidate vs. Habus: Success. Habus is for 1 round. Perception check vs. ???: Failure. That growth of mold and muck on the far wall, if you squint your eyes a little, looks just like your uncle Morgrym! What a coincidence! Knowledge check vs. ???: Failure. Just a normal day playing dominance games with wererats in the sewers. Nothing out of the ordinary here! Sense Motive #1: Partial success. The female wererat circling around the perimeter towards the mold and mushrooms thinks she's gaining some sort of advantage over you. But, because of your location next to the wall, they can't flank you. Something else is going on. Sense Motive #2: Success. The wererat who is taking knows who you are, and knows killing you would make Eries upset, which he wants to avoid. However, he's apparently not above clubbing about the head and shoulders until you're unconscious. GM NOTE: Responding to .
  10. Seven Days to the Grave - Nykla continued ... Carowyn Manor Grounds Nykla finds the gates both unlocked and unenchanted. If they were ever warded, the wards have long since faded. None of which does anything to settle Nykla's nerves about the situation that she's walking into. Stepping onto the pristine grounds and the manicured lawns, Nykla for the second time today is reminded of levels of wealth she aspires to, yet seems to be unable to keep within her clutches. Nykla approaches the main building, moving past the servants building and the trimmed garden hedges. Now that she's gotten closer, she can see the garlands and drapery -- while still fresh -- have clearly been hanging unattended for several days, starting to look sun-bleached and wind-swept after prolonged exposure. Above her, the balcony's brass banisters glint in the mid-day sunlight. Before her, the Bloodsworn Mahogany door sits in the aged limestone facade of the manor house. Unlike Vimanda Arkona's home, this door is fully closed. On the ground at her feet, a papier-mache mask lies abandoned. Game Mastery/Mechanical Stuff Perception check, please. Responding to .
  11. The Search for a Cure - Post 57 The decision to investigate the situation further is quickly made and acted upon. The group slips back into the shaded depths of the woods and circles around the clearing to get a different view from a better vantage point. Circling around the east, the cautiously approach the edge of the treeline, though not as quietly as they had hoped. Their movement is accompanied by the snap of twigs, which would've easily given their position away in normal circumstances. Fortunately for them, the crackle and pop of the nearby cabin on fire disguises their passage, allowing them to make it to the edge of the treeline undetected. Crouching down in the woods, shielded by trees and brambles, they can see what is making all the noise and racket -- more ghouls! Three ghouls can be seen pounding on the doors and walls of the ramshackle little cabin, desperate to get inside. Stranger yet, once the group gets over the shock of another horde of undead rampaging through the forest, they can see there's even more to the story. Between their hiding spot and the cabin that's under attack, a half-dozen broken and mutilated ghoul bodies lay dead on the ground in a makeshift trap -- crushed by logs or impaled by sharpened wooden spikes. Closer to them, several ghoul bodies lie in the open clearing, unmoving and still burning. Game Mechanical/Mastery Stuff Show Map!
