War Comes to Krynn The world has ended, and it’s ending again. Three hundred years ago, the Cataclysm brought ruin to the world of Krynn. In a single day, an age of wonders came to an end. Countless innocents died, the face of the world was reshaped, and the gods themselves faded into legend. Through ages of struggle, the peoples of Krynn survived, but the world isn’t what it was. Those nations that remain linger in the shadows of their ancestors’ wonders. Only slowly have they begun to push back centuries of darkness and rediscover how the world has changed. Then came the Dragon Armies, legions of soldiers devoted to the wicked god Takhisis the Dragon Queen, and the world faces ruin once more. The War of the Lance has begun, and in a conflict between gods and dragons, a wounded world hangs in the balance.

Oh, Fortuna! The premiere institution for magical academics for young adults aged 14-18 in its region, Fortuna Academy for the Arcane Arts--a.k.a. Fortuna High--is a place of learning for sorcerous teens to master their talents and learn what it means to be a wizard in the modern world. Unfortunately, the entire senior faculty has recently vanished--and now a group of inexperienced teachers need to hold the school together, protect their students, and figure out what happened to their colleagues.

From a humble / sleepy village, far removed from the magic and/or intrigue of The Capital City, a band of extremely likely heroes emerges: a mighty warrior; a scholarly master of magic and/or sorcery; probably a flamboyant bard or a brooding and shadowy thief (heart of gold optional); and also I guess maybe some kind of healer. Their deeds are the talk of drinking taverns for scores of leagues around; their doings sung by minstrels in the feasting halls of royal kings. But can these very familiar-seeming heroes protect the kingdom and the world from a series of well-trodden and derivative plotlines?

Part one of the Pathfinder 2nd edition Agents of Edgewatch adventure path. It takes place during the city of Absolom’s centennial celebration, the Radiant Festival. You are, in this part, new members of the city guard. Tourists are going missing, and it is up to you to figure out what’s happening in your city. I’d like everyone to start with a fresh-faced, wet behind the ears, level 1 character.

This is a Kids on Brooms game. KoB is a rules-lite system for storytelling in a magical academy. Much of the world building and details of the school and surroundings will be defined by the players in a cooperative worldbuilding approach. Purchase of the rules is not required as everything will be explained in the rules forum. Ideally we will have 3-6 players, applications for students or faculty are welcome.
