Hi! Nice to meet another old gamer! I didn't start Star Wars till a bit later.

A bit about me, gaming since gosh Chainmail, yes I am old. Started back in 1976. I play all kinds of games, and am interested in giving Ironsworn and it's associates a good try. I have been doing PbP, and PbeM for quite some time. I have been away from Mythweavers for a bit, but I play on a few other places around the net. This is my primary gaming medium as it suits my lifestyle as being able to poke in do a post and come back in a day or two. I am pretty open to game concepts and ideas. The point is to enjoy it, and I enjoy writing and playing. I am willing to talk about a bunch of different concepts. I personally own Ironsworn, Delve, Arcanum, Vaults and Vows, and Starforged.

I am interested in getting involved in something as well. My Ironsworn experience is limited, but I have it, Delve, Starforged, and Arcanum. I also just joined the Kickstarter for Sundered Isles because swashbuckling is so awesome! :D Count me as interested in another group. Not sure what I want to play, but happy to learn and do something.

Checking to see if people might be interested in , a cyberpunkian style game. It has some interesting mechanics and looks like fun.

I could be interested. I don't have Vaults and Vows, though I could acquire it. I have Ironsworn and Delve as well as a third party magic one Arcanum.

I have had an interest in , and the game has a whole introduction scenario, which I find intriguing. I would be willing to consider such a thing. Another more fantasy-related version would be Gods of the Fall, where the PCs are characters in a fantasy world and have a bit of a divine spark to them. Though this one is quite a bit farther afield from your original idea.

I have no idea how it will all come together, but my initial thought is something like a hermit crab hybrid. Soft and squishy without his armor, but able to go places others might not. Yet, in his armor, formidable.

Thank you! Glad to be back! My brain did a twist tonight. Same concept except the character's mythos is a trickster god/goddess. Where the mythos is so good that it has convinced Athena that she is Excalibur even though that is a masquerade. Back to the straight forward idea. Embodiment of the essence of The Lady of the Lake and shaping her into the weapon really sits well in my brain. Leaning towards Bastion but Adaptation could work. Glad it has traction enough to warrant further creation. I will copy over a template and get crafting.

Been a long time away from Mythweavers, but love to roleplay. I have been interested in City of Mist for quite some time, but never have played it, and though I am familiar with PbtA games, I have to admit I am less experienced in that realm. Though I have been rping for far too many decades to count. :D I thought I would toss a question or two here. My thought is to offer a personification of Excalibur as my character concept. Not sure what her logos is yet, thinking PI, or cop, but really open. I see her as a protector in her normal life. Could be a enforcer and protector for a gang for that matter, really almost anything that offers personification of strength and protection. I have the books, but have only begun to read them, despite my interest. Looking at the game information, I see Relic is mentioned, but I believe that is something you carry with you to offer the mythos powers. I was thinking that they are more imbued in her. They might manifest as spectacular martial arts, or fighting skills, for example. The more I read, Bastion seems to fit the character's core concept best. I also could see it falling under Adaption or even Divination. Depending upon how you define the legend of Excalibur and what it means to the Arthurian legend. I'm looking to start the conversation and see if this is interesting enough to you to want to continue to flesh things out. Open to any and all commentary and adjustment.
