LTiBA OOC

Not sure what is the preferred way of putting OOC actions into posts, so I'll put it here first.

Would like to move two down, two left into that little corner and Seek around the desk area, as Drizzle is unsure what to expect in this ancient tomb.

Not sure how to do the dice thing on here so here's one I made on Pathbuilder. Perception check:

1d20 + 8, 11 + 8 =19

Ruth would like to check out the bookshelves, though she's moving slowly to make sure she doesn't trigger any sort of trap.

I'll make a token of Ruth today or tomorrow depending on how stuff works out... Are there any rules on something looking too 'modern'?

Here's a link to the forum's dice guide.

I'm fairly new to the site myself, but tl;dr is:

1) Make a placeholder post

2) In the upper right corner of the post, there's a dice icon - click it

3) Either learn the syntax, or, easier, just use the GUI mode (magic wand icon)

You can also do inline rolls from the dice icon in the post editor, which basically does the same as the CLI mode but, obviously, shows up in-line, and doesn't have the GUI wizard.

You can also do inline rolls from the dice icon in the post editor, but (I assume) those can be cheated by editing the post, deleting and recreating the roll, so they shouldn't be used since they can basically be cheated easily.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind next time.
