Background

Odolf grew up in merchant and caravaners out of Kaer Maga.   Being tough dwarves that liked more lucrative trade routes,  their caravans often traveled into Cinderlands.    During these trips into the harsh wilderness,  Odolf was trained to be a warrior.   His occult abilities were discovered accidently.    During one his trips,  he was handling a small relic of Desna when he felt a surge of magical power.      As travelers,  they had always paid homage to Desna and had religous writings on hand.    His ability to control and harness the power grew as he studied her teachings.    For many years, he trained, studied and traveled with the family.

One night everything change.  The caravan's camp was attacked.   The fighting was nasty, and he was seriously injured.   After recovering from his injuries, he decided to take a break and go west to see the big water for himself.   During this trip, he met Sandru.     Caravaning in the lush lands along the coast seemed much more pleasant and safer than working in central Varisia.     So he joined Sandru's caravan.      A few years later,  he is ready to do something else.

Appearance & Personality

Brown hair, brown eyes, brown beard and dressed in heavy armor;  Odolf looks like the average dwarven warrior.    Even the facial scars from his earlier trauma don't stand out too much on a dwarf.

When he is working, Odolf is focused individual.   His past experiences have left slightly paranoid - almost nervous when is working.     When he isn't work, he is more relaxed and good natured.   Working or not,  he is a traveler at heart.
