backstory

how did you meet our mentor?  Jade grew up as spoiled rich kid an snuck out into one of fathers trips. Seeing what her father was really like she fled into a deep forest and was rescued from starving her mentor is Elm.

when and why did you choose to train with them? to rebel against her father, because she saw what he was protecting as precious. Started training after the incident in the forest.

Why did they agree to train you? He saw her attempt to save as many animals as she could when the group of her fathers friends began an illegal hunt.

Who else outside of the team knows about your training? Her father Gregory Alief who wants her powers to gain influence over the beaks. Her twin sister Irene who is jealous of the power she gained.

Why do you care about this team? Underdogs have to stick together right?  they are the only people who can help her rescue her mentor. They can help her avoid her father's men who could be still hunting her

full backstory Jade Aleif grew up as a spoiled rich kid always seeking the attention of her father. He is the owner of a minor biological company which claimed to work to protect the environment but actually took advantage of natural disasters. Her father wanted a son for his heir but only had twin daughters Irene the always perfect one. And jade the more rebellious one.  One day her father arranged an illegal hunt in a protected forest where Jade snuck in disguised as a boy.  She had never experienced true nature before and was in awe of it immediately.  She witnessed the hunters try to shoot everything in sight but she fled while trying to rescue as many animals as possible. Becoming hopelessly lost she came upon an old hermit called "Elm" who taught her to survive and protect nature. Earning his respect she received her first tattoo that gave her powers made from the ink infused with the spirits of nature themselves as Elm claimed. Eager to show off Jade told her sister of the training but Irene became jealous and told her father right as the final battle began.  Losing her mentor who she believed was captured she ran away from her exploitive father to seek help from AEGIs.

Personality. A risk taker Jade often has a fiery temper and is eager to prove herself different from her father. She is still learning to become a more reliable leader.

Costume dark brown tights under a dark green skirt that goes down to her knees. Her blouse has dark blues in stripes changing colors to dark red. Her mask is a simple domino one and a black hood completes the look since her red hair is quite distinctive.  She has several tattoos that always seem to shifting and moving along her skin they change with her mood. For example if she's angry storm clouds can be seen on her skin which is why her costume covers most of her body.

"What kind of player are you?,"  Creative and outgoing I like descriptive posts and thinking outside of the box.

"Why are you excited for this game?," I like the theme of using emotions rather then fists to solve problems plus its a new system to try.

"What are your expectations for this game?," patience this is a new system for me , communication for issues with rules  

and "Why do you think you would be a good fit for this game?" I do have many years of roleplay experience with DnD 5e. I feel that can easily translate to this game.

A.E.G.I.S. doesn't currently employ or harbor superheroes due to fear of being shut down by the Tangee, so you'll need to cut that part of your backstory.

Some things that I wouldn't mind seeing developed further:

You never mentioned your character's mother. Is she alive? Does she know about Jade's powers? What's her relationship with Jade's father?

What's the name of Gregory Aleif's biological company? What kind of injustices has it perpetrated in the past? What's its position in the present now that Halcyon City is occupied?

What about Jade's mentor Elm? What generation is he from (Gold, Silver, Bronze)? How does he embody the Superior label? How does he deny Danger? What sort of enemies has he fought in the past, and has Jade helped with any of them? What was their relationship like before he was captured?

All in all, solid effort. I would like to see what more you can come up with.

Iris Alief her mother divorced her father because of his treatment of her on the edge of verbally abusive.  She does not know about Jade's powers and is currently still in the city helping where she can. She is still searching for Jade when she heard she was missing and blames her husband.   Jade's relationship with her father is  strained even though Jade still wants his approval secretly. 

What's the name of Gregory Aleif's biological company? What kind of injustices has it perpetrated in the past? What's its position in the present now that Halcyon City is occupied? ALeaf is the name of the biological company. One example when a hurricane struck the coast line the company offered to clean it up and offered aid. In the background they would demand repayment for the services. corporate espionage, price gouging the list goes on. Its position is with her father playing both sides of the invasion which could catch p to him some day.

What about Jade's mentor Elm? What generation is he from (Gold, Silver, Bronze)? How does he embody the Superior label? How does he deny Danger? What sort of enemies has he fought in the past, and has Jade helped with any of them? What was their relationship like before he was captured?

Elm is part of the Gold generation its hard to tell how old he is he could be an ancient being made from the earth itself or just an old man who knows many secrets? For the superior label he always insists the old ways of not only going after the large threats but helping the small ones too. He denies danger because he still thinks of Jade as a sidekick someone that will not take as many risks as a full fledged superhero.   Some of enemies included Cutzone a villain who liked to destroy everything just for the fun of it.  Or Lady Lake a woman that liked to steal from environmental technologies.   Jade only helped as mainly a support role much to her annoyance. They had just had a large argument about whether she was ready for a real fight when he was captured.

Elm's Med Lab was missed by the initial raid because he hid it in the trunk of a tree that led to a underground lair.
