Urlani Variel, wandering bard of a Vourinoi tribe

Urlani knows she is possibly older than most amongst the new students at the academy, but amongst elves she is only a couple decades into what they call maturity. She spent roughly half her life in her tribe's oases, before the call of Desna sent her wandering, mostly amongst the northern deserts of Garund. She mainly made her way as a performer, whether it dancing, singing, or her lute, sometimes a mix. Much like the Tender of Dreams, she tended to drift from place to place, and interest to interest, leaving her with a wide array of skill and knowledge. So it was only natural that when she heard of an ancient school of magic deep in the Mwangi Expanse, she knew she wanted to make the journey. So after preparing, she left Thuvia, where she'd been for several years, making the journey down the rivers and lakes of the jungle.

 

Urlani is a tall, slender woman with bronze-tanned skin and wavy, almost curly, black hair. She moves with the grace of a dancer. She carries a wide array of weapons, always finding a new one she finds interesting. Her clothing suits the desert, while also being quite colorful and flashy. She is quite friendly, if a little odd sometimes.
