The Barkeep is an enigmatic figure. He appears by all accounts to be an ordinary middle-aged human male, yet he hasn't aged a day since the tavern first departed its home plane. Passing no judgement on good or evil, law or chaos, he serves all patrons professionally, with a seemingly endless variety of food and beverages choices. If a patron asks for something, chances are he's got it.

He is also one of the main points of contact for potential quest-givers. Every once in a while, he will leave the common room, re-emerge with a parchment and a hammer, and nail it to the Board for all to see.

He only has one rule: No Fighting! Curiously, even if a rowdy customer attempted violence on others or destruction of the tavern itself, they would find their efforts utterly futile. The source of this strange ward is still unknown.
