Those who give the statue more than a mere passing glance will notice stains of blood on the ground in front of it (some fresher than others). He is just from a rich family, too known and status dependent to have a criminal among them. The "Princeling" was supposed to be a mocking name given to the rich boy by the inmates in the jail above.
