Their quarry were not hard to find. The drunk halfling stumbles forward. "Hey, you bums stay away from her." His words are slurred as he rushes forward tripping over his own feet then begins throwing some wild punches. Some hitting others missing wildly.

Mechanics *

Move: Approaches closest drow enemy

Action: Punch (13 to hit for 5 bludgeoning damage non-lethal)

Bonus Action: Flurry of blows (10 to hit for 5 bludgeoning damage non-lethal and 15 to hit for 7 bludgeoning damage non-lethal)

 

OOC: I am assuming that we got a short rest before we came out.

Irol frowned as the rogues made intentions clear and he pulled out his war mage ruby attached dagger "Fools..." He muttered lowly then with a slide and spin in his step he charged up magic and fired it from his dagger, it quickly turning into a music note that pulsed with silvery light and zinged towards the nearest drow rogue and attempted to hit him, hit or miss, that drow would find himself having to dodge a burst of divine fire as well almost as if Jin was using the musically influcenced spiritual weapon to guide a divine spell he knew. He wasn't particularly trying to blow their cover with the display but the silvery music mote, flash of light, and overall protective stance this male 'drow' should suggest to the rogue that maybe those guarding Mieri had other gods they called upon to protect their mistress

With an alarm placed on their new abode and her own wards recharged, Rose considered their newest opponents for a moment. Their goal was to awe these cultists with their strength and she'd do exactly that. The sounds of their breathing dulled and gathered into a mote of air. It shuddered as pressure built within. Her staff struck the ground and the mote shattered into a peel of thunder.

 

OOC

Rosealie casts alarm (as a ritual) on their room and regains her last ward point before they leave. In the fight, she uses a second level spell slot to cast shatter on the thickest concentration of the enemies without targeting any of her allies. CON DC 14 for half.

Don't worry about it , spells are just tools for the most part. Lloth's clerics cast Sacred Flame and Spiritual Weapon themselves.

The leader grovels which is fortunate for the halfling as he is able to hit twice because of it. He hits the monk just before he grovels. A dark light comes out of his sword and the halfling is badly hurt taking 24 damage from the blow. The leader is stabbed by the sword as well and sacred flame. Boz finishes him off. A couple arrows hit Boz for 20 damage due to sneak attack. The shatter spell goes off hitting four of them. A couple of them miss their attacks against Roselie but one of them uses Toll the Dead on her causing 5 damage another uses Rime's Binding Ice and all of you have to make a con save.

Feeling the dark light tear into him, Brakken stumbles. Then the ice surrounds him. He tries to stumble forward after another of the drow. This was not going well for him. "Help..." He manages to slur out before he freezes in place.

Move: Stays frozen (If not dead he will back away after chipping off the ice.)

Action: Stays frozen (If not dead will chip off the ice)

Bonus Action: Stays frozen

 

OOC: I am assuming that even a 10 fails against Rime's Binding Ice spell, so can't move and has no enemies within reach. It is likely that he goes to 0 hp from the damage, but let me know for sure. (He was at 12 hp, so unless you roll badly he is gone.)

The spell hits Rose, but she's unfazed by the necrotic energy. Rather, some of the unseen energy she'd woven into her defenses crumbles away. A swarm of magic darts appear swarm past her fingers in retaliation.

Don't know whether she made the CON save or not, but she wasn't moving anyway. Using her last 1st level slot she'll cast magic missile on the most wounded of her enemies.

Boz shrugs off the worst of the icy blast with a shake of his head and roll of his shoulders. He swings again hard at the next foe, who get a hard maul to his face. He expertly uses the momentum of his first swing to either hit that foe again or swing at the next one.

Jin grunts as the ice freezes him up "hey ice man not cool!" He growled then freed himself from the ice made a nudge of his head and his music note spiritual weapon sails towards the one who cast the ice and attempts to impact him but it fails. He moves over to where Brakken was and switches his dagger to his off hand and draws his moon touched rapier that shines with moonlight casting bright light in a 15 foot radius and a dim light 30 feet beyond that

"NO!" exclaims Merli, shocked to see Brakken sorely wounded by the enemy. Shrugging off the icy attack, she pulls down the healing power of her Goddess and reaches out towards the halfling...desperate to keep him away from death's door.

Those who fail their DC13 save take 11 damage those who save take 5 as you always round down in 5e Brakken was down to one HP and is able to back up when he was healed by Yew. 3 of the drow are finished off and the remaining four give up. One of them says "Should we ask them?", one of the others says "After blowing it that badly? Although I think we were unlucky"
