I've been waffling about posting here since it seems like y'all are having fun on your own, but I've got one for you guys if you're interested.

    She is smiling like
    Heaven is down on Earth
Sun is shining so bright on her
And all her wishes have finally come true
    And her heart is weeping
    This happiness is killing her
    It's crazy

Let’s do @Faeryl_’s, since it does show up on my Pandora feed.

  2. @Blue Jay I've gone ahead and roughed out a few different versions as different tabs on the spreadsheet above. 1 as posted above, 1 with crossbreed and half-giant on different levels, 1 with Stonebone and evolved from Dragon 350 (probably my least favorite of the lot - still costs 2 class levels and adds costing a feat, though it does get better stats), 1 dropping the attempts to get powerful build and 1 dropping powerful build and bloodline. I'm happy to go with whatever version will be the least obnoxious. I don't know who all of the mods are; if you let me know, I can give them access as well. Edit: I realized I could find the mods on the members list. I've tried to add @Delia2531 @rogueblade0729 @JCBarnes and @Rudolf to the private block with the spreadsheet link.

Side question, as written, it looks like Crossbreed would yet someone take 2 base races. Am I correct in reading it that way? - Not that it makes that much a difference since the base races I would add would be LA1, so the levels wouldn't change, just the attributes.

  3. The part of powerful build that I want is the large weapon, Monkey Grip would do that with a penalty and Jotunbrud wouldn't be needed. I'll keep it in mind though.

  4. I'm poking around to see if there might be simpler ways to add 'powerful build' to a character. Would the Stonebone template (LA 2, +4 STR, -4 DEX, +4 Con, -4 on climb and swim checks, -10' land speed and -20' swim speed) and the Evolved feat (negates either the dex penalty, the skill penalties, or the speed penalty for the template) from Dragon #350 be allowed?

  5. Oh. Didn’t actually know the song title anyway.

at any rate Roughtrade, good pick. I’ve always had a deep respect and I mean that most sincere.

  6. Bonesetter McCoy

attachment.php?attachmentid=107649Bonesetter looks at the ruins of the city and feels nothing one way or the other about it. "If we want to keep the sled with us, we will need to stick with larger gates. Maybe it would be prudent to slip in through a smaller gate and scout one of the larger ones before bringing the sled in?"

  7. In Pathfinder 1st Edition, the weight of items is typically measured in pounds. Here are the weights for each of the items you listed:

    1. MW Backpack: 4 lbs
    2. Bandolier: 0.5 lbs
    3. Belt Pouch: 0.5 lbs
    4. Spell Pouch: 0.5 lbs
    5. Quarterstaff: 4 lbs
    6. Dagger: 1 lb
    7. Bolts x30: 3 lbs (assuming 30 bolts weigh 1 lb)
    8. Light Crossbow: 4 lbs
    9. MW Artisan: This would depend on the specific artisan tool. Assuming it's a typical tool like a MW Artisan's Tool, it would weigh 5 lbs.
    10. Bedroll: 5 lbs
    11. Blanket: 1 lb
    12. Candles x10: 0.1 lbs (assuming each candle weighs 0.01 lbs)
    13. Mess kit: 1 lb
    14. Silk Rope: 5 lbs (50 ft)
    15. Spell Pouch: 0.5 lbs
    16. Scroll Box x10: This would depend on the material of the scroll box. Assuming it's made of wood, it would weigh around 1 lb each, so 10 lbs for 10 boxes.
    17. Rations x10: 1 lb per day's rations, so 10 lbs for 10 days' rations.
    18. Waterskin: 4 lbs (when filled with water)
    19. Flint and Steel: 0.1 lbs
    20. Ink: 0.1 lbs
    21. Inkpen: Negligible weight, usually around 0.01 lbs
    22. Potions CLW x4: 1 lb (assuming each potion weighs 0.25 lbs)
    23. String 50 ft x2: 0.1 lbs (assuming each 50 ft of string weighs 0.05 lbs)
    24. Parchment x20: 0.1 lbs

These weights are based on the standard weight of items in the Pathfinder 1st Edition rules.

I guess I need to go double check some.

Spot checking looks ok for the most part. the 'spell pouch' from your list is wrong, assuming that is a spell component pouch. And it did flat out guestimate weights for things that had none listed (string, candles, etc).

  8. Habus stares at Girrigz for a moment, then turns shaking his head sadly. He pauses as he enters the crack leading back out. "The problem with fear.... The problem with fear is that it makes people easy to manipulate. They'll fear you and someone'll use that fear to do worse to what caused it. Careful what you wish for mate. I'll see if I can do anything to keep mobs out, but I ain't holdin my breath on that. You catch any wind 'bout whats up with this plauge, pass word eh?" He leaves and starts the trek back toward the surface.

  9. Updated. Just need to finish getting equipment and add the height and weight and such.

Yes, ref as the good progression for crossbreed saves.

You're right, I don't think it matters if I'm adding elf to a half-giant or adding half-giant as a monster to the base elf in this case. My reading was you started with a base race (elf in this case) then take a level in crossbreed to add a second race (half-giant). Though I'm getting a bit lost in what's a race and what's a monster.
