  1. Bramlin Braveless As a young man, Bramlin (Bram to friends) hails from a family of knights. His father was a knight, as was his father, and his father before him. The latter, Bram’s great-grandfather, was a complete coward of a man, attaining knightly station only but by position of privilege. Thus he was dubbed a surname of dubious distinction for Bram’s forefathers to duly enjoy. Braveless. And, in knightly tradition, it stuck, and now our knightly fellow faces a life of judgment and reckoning. How to overcome his name, and prove to all the realm he is…Bramlin the Brave! An arduous journey surely lies ahead, but Bram is ready to pursue whatever knightly endeavors may arise. For to make a better name for his knightly self, and to entertain the masses with great adventure. After all…what’s in a name? Let’s Play A Game. Interested in playing a largely-lighthearted solo game involving knightly adventures. Sword and sorcery, but also jousting, chivalry and all the antics that can go with it. System-wise, D&D 5e is easy enough for me, but AD&D is also great, and I could happily manage 3.5 or PF 1e as well. Inspired by Don Quixote, A Knight’s Tale, The Princess Bride and Robin Hood Prince of Thieves. Cue theme song, Everything I Do (I Do It For You), now perhaps as stuck in your head as it is in mine. You’re welcome.
  2. Marl attempts to make sense of the papers, Unable to react quickly, Mark momentarily stammers. Then heads to the window and gazes out towards the fleeing thief! Should we go after him, Mark asks his friends.
  3. Half-human hands pick up pieces of the paper. As our half-orc fellow begins reading them! What have we here, Marl asks rhetorically.
  4. Marl readies both his short blades. Standing just near the door, guarding clerical friend whole desk is duly searched.
  5. Giving wide berth to canine companion, Marl allows Fang and Vestas to pass. Then, our half-orc fellow moves carefully to room 3.
  6. Marle’Tok Half-Orc Fighter Marl attempts to enter through the patio door. But finds half-human self shaken by the haunting voice! “Uh, on second thought…maybe I’ll try another way in!” Marl heads back towards the front door and tries entering that way instead. OOC
  7. Gerry Greycastle Stag and Stor
  8. Marle’Tok Half-Orc Fighter Marl nods in kind half-human agreement. A toothy grin overtaking roughened green-skinned face. “Yeah, sounds good. I’ve spent my whole life being different, why make an exception now?!” With feigned stealth clad in studded leather, our half-human fellow makes savage approach to the patio door. OOC
  9. Yes, let’s search around a bit, see what we can see. Meet you all back here? Marl begins quiet approach clockwise around the perimeter. Calloused hands checking the wall for hidden entrances, or simply gazing with hazel eyes for an obvious side door! Hopefully we’ll find a safe and sneaky way in, Marl thinks to half-human self!
  10. Marl nods kindly through crooked toothy grin. Ya know, we could use someone who can sneak around, Marl says to Vestas. Even in my light armor, I’m not much of a skulker myself.
  11. Marl finishes his meal, and gazes hazel eyes warily upon the man scabbarding a cutlass. He listens to the woman behind the counter give macabre report of the lighthouse. A cursed, haunted house, eh? Seems like a place worth exploring sometime. Anyone ever go in there? Finishing up his meal, Marl extends half-orcish Thanks, then settles up for a resting spot in the common room.
  12. Grayden Greencastle - Human Fighter Name: Grayden (Gray) Greencastle Character Concept: A knightly fellow with a head full of heroic tales seeks to finish his story. Race, Background, Subclass Class: Human (Chondathan), Faction Agent (The Lord’s Alliance), Fighter, Battle Master or Eldritch Knight Description: A strong and stout, intellectually-astute fellow of Chondathan descent, Grayden (Gray to friends) stands near six feet tall and close to a hundred eighty pounds. Heavier in his chainmail armor, heavy mail that he’s quite expert with wearing. One might call our emerald-eyed fellow something of an athlete, given his sheer physical strength. However, fact is, he’s not very dexterous, at all, and actually a bit…clumsy. Prone to spill his drink at times, even when completely sober, and sometimes to step on his own sabaton-clad feet. Don’t ever ask him to dance! Did we already mention…his emerald eyes? The green in his eyes is quite fitting for his surname. He likewise finds his first name, ironically shortened as Gray, a bit irritating. It’s not easy, being green. Plothook: Past is Prologue: Gray Loyalties… Is Might Right…? Deity… Music…
  13. No , I’m good,, replies our half-orc fellow. Marl tries keeping a low profile, which is surely difficult, given his heritage.
