Active Conditions: Syhlas notices the hunter's guilt as well as his differing facial expressions towards the foreigners. He studies the dark-skinned elf for a while but can't understand why he seems to dislike Arionne, Baldric and Matilde more. Syhlas can't help chuckling at his own thought that himself and Vharag would perhaps be their group's least likable or trustworthy members to a lot of other people. "We all make mistakes." he says to the Ekujae in a compassionate voice. "But I can assure you we have no ill intent." Actions Reaction: Action 1: Action 2: Action 3:

Active Conditions: As Nketiah asks if anyone wants to help her gather the children for story time Syhlas looks at Baldric. "This is your time to shine!" Then turning back to the half-elf woman "I would like to come with you." He listens as the others discuss the curse but the rogue has nothing to add to that. He is starting to wonder when the celebrations are going to start. What kind of drinks do they have to offer at this place, wine or ale or something else completely? As the group of foreigners meet the hostile hunter Syhlas stays in the back of the group to begin with as Arionne and Vharag addresses the Ekujae. He steps up to stand next to Vharag when the orc is finishing his response. Syhlas nods to affirm what is said then adds "We just had a meeting with your leaders and they asked nothing of this key. As my friend here says, we are fighting the same battle as you." Actions Reaction: Action 1: Action 2: Action 3:

Active Conditions: Syhlas is surprised when he hears the two elven leader's voices from within his own mind but he doesn't show any objections to it. Then he waits for his friends to show their skills to the elven leaders before he steps forward. He speaks in Elven. <Like my friends I'm honored that you take us in to your community like this and want to celebrate with us. I am Syhlas Yaeder, from the city of Kintargo. This is truly a fabulous place you have built here.> He looks around the treetops around them and sweeps around with his arms. He had been looking around the tree branches while his companions performed their challenges to see if he could find some spot to climb up to and from there make some acrobatic moves. <Are you ok with me climbing up there?> Syhlas points up to a branch some 15 feet above them. After getting approval he starts to climb gracefully to that point and then he jumps down making a triple somersault on the way down while drawing his two blades mid-air and landing on his feet with blades in a battle stance. He then continues tumbling past the two elven leaders to stand behind them. Then he sheathes his weapons. Actions Reaction: Action 1: Action 2: Action 3:

Active Conditions: Like his companions Syhlas can't hide his curiosity about Nketiah's elaborate staff and her odd arm but he just introduces himself politely and lets Baldric do most of the talking initially. "Celebration sounds awesome. There have been too little of that since we started all this as a group. I have never been on a party up in the trees." He looks up amazed at the city above them built on the branches of the entire forest around them. "A storyteller! You will have competition tonight Baldric." Syhlas gives the bard a nudge and a grin. As they climb up the ladder into the tree city proper Syhlas looks wide-eyed at the lioness. He is not certain if it looks at them as potential food or is some kind of guardian for the Ekujae but he lets someone else worry about that. He puts his right hand on his chest and bows addressing everyone that can see them. <We are very grateful for your hospitality. It is an honor for us to be here.> He speaks in Elven but looks sideways at Baldric for some help with the proper words and pleasantries. Actions Reaction: Action 1: Action 2: Action 3:

Active Conditions: Syhlas walks up next to Baldric as the conversation starts in Elven. It's a language he has managed to pick up during his travels. He has a little problem understanding the strange dialect these dark-skinned elves speak though, but he picks up enough words to understand that they seem friendly. <Well met Jahsi. I'm Syhlas. So it is the Cinderclaws who has caused this destruction?> He gestures at the ruined stone arches around them. <They are certainly no friends of us so if we can help you defeat them then we will.> He nods at Vharag's suggestion to go with the Ekujae and learn from them about this - to him - alien place. "A local guide would be great, but you are very welcome to come along with us as well, Renali." He says in their common tongue. Actions Reaction: Action 1: Action 2: Action 3:

If you’re legendary in Acrobatics, you always land on your feet and don’t take damage, regardless of the distance of the fall. Active Conditions: Syhlas thanks Vharag and Baldric for healing the burns that was caused by the draconic vision. He still doesn't understand how that would work. It was an illusion but still the fire it burst out was very real. Never mind, the arcane and magic would always be a puzzle to the more down-to-earth rogue. As they enter the humid jungle Syhlas feels like walking into a wall of steam. He is too confused to notice that they are surrounded by elf-looking people with bows at the ready. When he finally does, the swordsman raises his hands showing that he has no intention to do anything hostile or aggressive. He lets Baldric do the talking and hopes that the elves understand their language enough to understand that we mean no harm. As he looks around the area it seems there has been some destruction here. Could it have been caused by those Cinderclaws, perhaps? Actions Reaction: Action 1: Action 2: Action 3:

Active Conditions: Syhlas walks in silence as the party strides through the gate. He looks at the strange walls made from molten lava but still glowing strangely. Then Renali calls out a warning and the vision of a golden dragon appears on one of the walls. Even if it's just a vision the fire it spews out is burning hot and the rogue must dodge out of its way to avoid getting engulfed by it completely. It still burns him though. Vharag shouts that it is made from arcane energies that must be undone somehow. "Wait!" Syhlas says suddenly. Then he moves towards the wall next to where the vision appears. The Kintargan has no knowledge of the arcane but he see some signs, inscribed in the wall, runes perhaps, but there is a pattern to them. "This one is loose!" He grabs a piece of cracked rock with a sign on the front and pulls it out of the wall. The vision of Dahak becomes fainter as he holds the piece of rock in his hands but it's still there. Looking around he finds an irregularity in the wall a few steps further down the hall, much like a hole. It seems to fit the piece he just pulled out and when he puts it in there the dragon disappears. "How about that? Is magic always that simple?" He smiles at the others. In fact, it's only Renali here who knows anything about Mwangi on the other side of this portal and she is advising against you coming with us. So I must tell you to stay here. I think you and your sister will be excellent guards roaming the land surrounding the citadel and warning the other inhabitants against approaching threats. Then later when you have grown stronger and more experienced I will let you join me on one of these adventures." After seeing Fierce walk back to the citadel with her sister Syhlas checks his gear and weapons one last time. "I'm ready. You said it is hot and sticky there, right?" He addresses the question to Renali. Then he turns towards Arionne "Woodslore? Me? You are getting a knack for comedy, Ms Amata!" He smiles and laughs. "We'll be fine though. He doesn't know much about legal rituals and procedures but since Isger has had a similar influence from Cheliax as Kintargo he knows enough. Arionne has given him a speed lesson as well and since she will do most of the talking that should be fine. He leans in towards Calmont to whisper a few comforting words to him in Halfling. "You shouldn't need to worry really. There are a lot of people here that will speak up for you. Voz's own anger and hatred will sink her." Then he sits back in his chair and looks over at Voz and her lawyer with a contented smile on his lips. He tries to fix eye contact with Voz to try to aggravate her just by smiling and looking at her.
