With the blade still sheathed it was impossible to tell the extent of how different the weapon was from it's strange sheath- but it was clear Puppet treasured the weapon; she had been carrying it inside the case at every single meeting, even in public. Despite still holding the weapon in her left hand, Puppet's right brought down one of her duffel bags, reaching inside for a moment before producing a customized Sub Machine Gun. It sported the same color and styling customizations as the pistol strapped to Puppet's thigh, though it's sleek profile featured a folding stock and a shoulder strap mounted. Those with knowledge of firearms could easily see the weapon for the SCK Model 100 it was- the iconic choice for the Japanese corporations and their security forces. With a hurried motion she shoulders the strap of the weapon, slinging it across her back before diving back into the duffel bag where she begins producing a series of magazines for clearly both her pistol, and the SMG; which she hurriedly stuffs into gear-access pockets across her skinsuit. With the situation diffused, Puppet remains in her seated position, hands open- until the door closes once more. With an utterly calm demeonor she turned her head to Suit and offered him a thankful nod for the backup, before reaching over to grab the black canvas drawstring bag her mask had been kept in and slipping it back inside. As she settled back down among her duffel bags and equipment, it was clear Puppet's mind had turned towards contemplation and analysis rather than hang on to the previous moment. Her mind plucking at errant details, making note of gang names, color codes- everything she could to broaden her understanding. This was the type of things the matrix had no concrete knowledge of- so absorbing it first hand was the only way she could know if her theory had been correct. If there were fine details to learn- she might benefit from a re-experience of the events at a later time. As such she isn't caught by surprise when the ork's face appears in the flung open door. She was, however, surprised when the ork reached for his heavy pistol and began to panic. Knowing that any sudden move to a standing position or aggressive motion would provoke an even further reaction, Puppet simply opens her hands and remains in her relaxed travel-position, calling out towards the ork. She didn't have a lot of time- so her first words needed to count. "Nani'yo baka, if I was a hostile, you think I would be sitting here?" she said in a higher-pitched 'traditional feminine' Japanese accent. Puppet greetings Ironside and Suit with a wave and a nod, leaving them to their preparations. Dressed in her go-gang-leathers-esq skinsuit she does not strike nearly the same form nor figure as before- however after reaching into the produced black drawstring bag Puppet produces a clearly custom-created mask of a sort. Similar perhaps in construction to Ironside's mask, Puppet's is more wrap-around with sturdier straps- and a decidedly 'Oni' or demon aesthetic; even down to the miniature red horns and tusks. A quick test-fit and adjustment of the straps sees her remove the protective mask. It did little to restrain her extravagant 'curtain' of hair hanging down her back- but even still she seemed unwilling to tie or bind it. It would seem, oni-look revealed, that even while dressing like a Go-Ganger Puppet couldn't resist maintaining some visually outstanding 'flair'. Producing an equally custom heavy pistol, Puppet slipped and fastened it tight into the thigh holster on her right leg. It bared the same black with red color scheme as her mask, the red being saved for the grip and accents, however the majority of the weapon was a beautiful chrome composite. Those in-the-know of firearms could register the profile as being a Savalette Guardian, an expensive and feature-rich pistol preferred by so-called 'Professional Killers'. Though like most things Puppet was carrying or wearing- it did not look stock nor straight out of a catalog. While perhaps not the oddest thing the young Japanese woman was carrying or doing, one of the more mundane-but-odd items to be produced from the one duffel bag was a large auto-injector that visibly contained a viscous grey liquid or goo substance within. Keeping it capped she slipped it into a custom-fitted holster at her left hip, making especial-caution to strap and secure it tightly before straightening her posture once again; treating the injector with more caution and 'this is expensive' gentle touch than anything else she was carrying. For that moment however Puppet zipped up the duffel bag she was working with, after returning the black drawstring bag inside. She seemed to keep her vaunted sword still locked away inside her case- and whatever else she was carrying she had seemingly decided didn't need to be carried during the drive in and checkpoint of entry. Puppet arrives at the tire center dressed utterly unlike the previous meetings. Instead of her pantsuit and corporate-wear, she arrived in a neck to foot formfitting motorcycle skinsuit of black leather, the collar, wrist and ankles each featuring a surrounding band of metal spikes. With the weather chilled as it was, the zipper down the front was pulled tight, meaning not a single inch of pale flesh was exposed to the cold as her bike came to a stop. Puppet gives a wink and a wave to Fix as he makes his departure, she would have said aloud that she would keep him in the know- but the AI knew that already. She knew Fix had a great number of rules in place for him, Horizon kept a tight leash on what obviously could be a powerful matrix demi-god, for all she knew. Despite her knowledge of the matrix, and even the weird things that can sometimes 'happen' there- she'd never forced or even asked Fix to tell her about 'what' he was or 'how' he worked. He was a person, and to her, you wouldn't walk up to another living being and ask them those same questions. Hearing the matrix arguments about whether AIs were people seemed to utterly alien to her. Of course they were. But with a reflexive motion that she failed to even perceive consciously Ryoko extended her hand and picked up her blade once again in the instant after Fix had disappeared. The visit, though brief, was a bright spot in the day. She made a mental note into her commlink to look into a mobile holo-projector of some kind. On a small drone that she could carry around perhaps. Regardless of her thoughts in the moment, Fix and her discussion had brought to the surface thoughts of their mission, the reasons and purposes behind things. Were they substantial enough to bring up with her team, though? Her suspicions were just that. Suspicions. Unsubstantiated by anything actually viewable. Puppet nods slowly, her mind still picking at errant details in her memories and thoughts. "Not an overwhelming attack. No- but a minor one. To keep appearances. So chaos must serve their interests in some way." she mused aloud, but in the end can only shrug. "But- I do not think anyone knows what motivates these Demons. But- them working for Evo or whoever is behind this would make for an entertaining Plot Twist, yes?" she asked with a hint of a wicked smile, calling back to Fix's own words earlier. The feline-changeling had been nearly violently objectionable to the idea of completing the mission, failing to do so coming with great cost. It was Puppet who, aboard the gala-party's yacht, confronted the woman as she fled and seemingly impaled her upon her blade before leaning forward to tear off her life vest, ripping her blade away and kicking her into the water. Her act had been so flamboyant that even for a time it had fooled Horizon's own editors- and the group was awarded the mission's prize. For her supposed deed Bastet hated Puppet, and the animosity the changeling held for her was passionate and dark- only months later did Horizon reveal in the lead up to the finale that Puppet had not in fact killed Mrs. Waterfield, but had slipped the blade through her dress but not her body. That as she leaned in she had whispered words to the woman to feign her death, take her child and flee the city. Her flamboyant flourish with her sword, already bloody from a guard the moments prior, was enough to simulate the killing blow as she shoved the woman into the water before the camera drones could angle to see her deception. When it was revealed, Bastet was beside herself with questions, demanding to know why Puppet had never told her. Puppet's only response was echo the very reason she had done it in the first place. To protect the secret, and thus the child, for as long as possible, she would endure Bastet's hatred of her. She would be the villain of the story. It was this revelation, this showing of compassion and reason-behind-appearances that would cause Bastet to hesitate during the show's finale when Puppet was turned against the team.
