  1. Ryzia finds no traps. She, too, is certain this language is not any she is familiar with. Shrugging this failure off, she and the rest of the party move on to the southern door. Once more, she finds nothing dangerous about the door or doorway and opens it with no trouble. In what order does the party enter the room? I assume Ryzia takes the lead as usual. ((For the record, the script was in fact just an unfamiliar version of Common. You all just failed to Decipher the Script.))
  2. It's not Draconic. You can tell that right away. Like Gwain, you're pretty sure it's just some variant of Common you're unfamiliar with. You can't be certain, but that's the feeling you're getting.
  3. As far as the internet is concerned, magic > martial every single time.
  4. Nah, background music doesn't interfere with Listen checks. It's already been established.
  5. Cei is being her usual bardy self and letting everyone else do the work while she "provides musical support".
  6. A more thorough examination reveals some markings, but nothing jumps out as odd. Well, except for the fact that all of it is "odd" by way of being a language/dialect you're unfamiliar with. It looks pretty similar to Common, and you suspect with some effort and maybe a few days' work you and the others could puzzle it out, but at the same time it is unlikely to be worth the effort. Magical writing is rarely in Common, after all. It's probably just an inscription telling you who was interred within.
  7. Well, surely someone thought to ask in which direction it lay. Even if it was "off-screen".
  8. Gwain's knowledge of psionics helps him not. He can find no strange holes or markings on the sarcophagi in his cursory examination. (Remember that if you don't mind spending extra time, Take 10 is an option.)
  9. Ithrinnwen Ithrinnwen takes a few minutes to examine the narrow track ahead. To determine just how narrow it is. Will it be dangerous for the party on foot, or is it simply too small for the cart? While doing that, she suggests the others begin looking for a defensible place to shelter while the light lasts. 10. If nobody wishes to try their hand at opening magically sealed sarcophagi, you can pick a direction to go and explore further. From the sarcophagi room, you have the southern door leading to a room you've not been to yet. Otherwise, you can go back to the previous hall and take the north door to another new room, or make an attempt at entering the library occupied by bat demons.
  11. Amy The brunette peers at Xixok through her bangs. "I mean, I guess if that sort of stuff is interesting to you. I'm certainly not going to fault you for enjoying it. To me, though, it was unbearably dull. The only thing worse than that is political texts." She shivers. "Not going to be touching one of those even with a 10 ft. pole held by a Mage Hand." 12. Druid magic is great at battlefield control or summoning. Especially summoning; even if Summon Nature's Ally isn't as strong as Summon Monster. As for getting 19 wis/cha, items over time are probably your best bet. Focus on whichever magic is going to require saving throws the most first and then get the other casting stat up to 14/15 to start. Just enough to cast mid-level spells for the early levels. You won't need that 19 until much later.
  13. You can also buy a singular gauntlet to effectively enhance your unarmed strike.
  14. Ithrinnwen With her Bloodhound spell still active from the day before, Ithrinnwen and Tha'ali once again volunteer to lead the group in tracking their target. She produces the same article of clothing as yesterday, hoping the scent is not too degraded by being on her person all day yesterday. Today she had also prepared and cast the Scent spell on herself, allowing her to aid in scent tracking as needed. It can't hurt to have more available and she can track by scent and sight at once. 15. Well, unfortunately, I'm not in control of Yuki at the moment. The vampire/GM is.
  16. Naturally I expect the vampire to have her move out of it so her abilities can actually work. It ordered her to use her Slumber Hex after all, so to do so she'd have to move out of the Silence.
