The package. From in front of the horses, it was easy to see the Thistle-folk approach. The first few taking on the surveyors in the group near the wagon, and falling quickly. But one managed to thrust itself through the melee to the wagon. "That is not for you." Verris now moved with a speed and grace that belied their previous inaction. Hefting the heavy mace, they swung it at the last of the Thistle-folk. Their sinuous arms flexed as the mace struck home with a solid thud on the Thistle-folk. 8w_gremlin Posted April 18 Author Clone Share Posted April 18 (edited) Verris' mace nearly smashed into the creature but smashes the carriage with a resounding clang, forcing it to reel backwards out of the carriage. Clutching the package tightly under its arm, it brandished a wickedly serrated blade, lashing out at Verris in desperation. As the cold metal whistled through the air, the thistle-folk sneered menacingly, its eyes glinting with malice. "This prize will fetch a pretty price," it hissed, its voice dripping with venomous greed as it prepared to make its sinister escape. OOC, Mechanics Fail with Fear.
