Trolls win taking no loses and elves take 20% losses and cant move forward.

While the battle raged, the infected divided their forces into 2 smaller forces, the fliers flanked around the battle and got to behind the elves as their battled finish both sides moved in to attack the tried bloodied armies.

 

The flankers are 5 to 1 odds vs the elves but they add x9 their bonus for all flying and having many casters in troop.

Elves get +70 for odds lose -30 for being tired= +40

infected flankers get x2 extra for +34

main force loses 3 for -51

Anyone with any kind of tactics skill or feat( like knowledge tactics or Tactician feat) can try to read the battle and remove what other side WONT use in tactics to give better chance to counter them.

The following are able to be used:

Full Attack force to push back

Attack engage and attack

Envelope tried to encircle

Trap lure for a ambush

Hold stand at all costs

Withdraw Retreat than than fight.

 

 

Each has pro and cons against other tactics

if result has a / then each side follows that is listed. If only has 1 effect listed both side apply that effect.

 

After each side has chosen their tactic if one of the commanders has tactics, following happens:

Each commander of forces make a EDU check opposed. Whoever wins removes 1 tactic the other side is not using ( if only one commander has tactics and that one wins he learns nothing.) For every 5 points above they win, another tactic is removed it is not. At that point the winner can change their tactics if so wish.

So does any of the players at battle have any tactics to share for next wave? IF want to choose tactics and post it in DM to one of the other player to record it where i cant see it once done tell me and i will choose for infected.

Infected use a plan to remove the defense bonuses from their foes. Attacking at night dim light.

The plan is flier in bat form and mists covered with darkness globes spread out and move to cover advances. 50 flight arrows using comp longbows with darkness cast on them are fired at 500 feet+ just within area of allies troops at the other side bring them into darkness.

With this attack fliers rush forward and attack as one army ignoring the bonus army is getting from defense. The ground troops go around ledge, command casts worldwalk opens a gate to ethereal plane, walks to other side of army and comes out next to wizards and shooters.

Opens gate and commander comes out puts up a prismatic wall to cover troops coming out. 10 trolls a round pour out for 33 rounds then commander casts it again and another 10 a round pour out for a total of 620 troops behind the lines that flank and negate the defense bonus granted. Whatever is left Moves up and fires missile at troops within 200 feet.

@Sohala Please post your battle tactics for next wave. They have 5% more troops from the wounded of the last wave.

List your tactics against anything you deem is a forgo conclusion that is a no brainer and they should do automatically without command input that you feel they would be trained in fighting infected.

If something take command input the time to get it to the officers and to the troops is 5 to 10 mins and then the troops to follow up up to 30 mins.
