The teenage half orc/ half elf huffed and puffed as Aaliyah held him and talked to him. Tears were running down his face and the veins in his forehead were pulsing. He gritted his teeth to yell some more, but the soft touch calmed his angry heart. Friends, were they friends? He was unsure, they weren't as true as his best friend, but he did care for them. The admonition of his mother returned to his mind. "Aye, I'm sorry." He mumbles, his heart still racing, he walks over to the nearest tree and takes a moment to compose himself. Wipes his tears and calms his breathing and his heart rate.

 

The others have already walked inside the cave when he follows them. He keeps his eyes on the hag as they go inside. Aaliyah's words ring in his ears. Why did he trust the Skron Priest more than this witch? Souris clearly loved her, Aaliyah felt that she was really helping them. He watches one by one as his companions down the strange brew. Were they brave or foolish? He was unsure. He waits for each of the others to drink before he picks up the last cup and holds it watching the hags eyes.

ACTION: Insight check on the hag to see if she his ill intent in this brew. 22

OOC: I'm not saying that he won't drink, but he will wait for the others to all drink and then give them a minute to see what happens to them before he will partake.

She was happy most seemed to be willing to partake in the elixir, to the point of giving toasts even. It was clear that there was no way to tell whose was whose as she poured them, so perhaps that could help the others trust that Baba would have to be at least willing to poison Souris as much as any of them. Especially when the woman made no move to direct her little mouse to a particular cup... though she did hate Baba's medicines, the hag seemed to take joy in how awful they were.

Souris didn't want to toast to death, she didn't like the idea, and this drink was for their protection, nothing more. "To our safety..." She said quietly, before looking to either side where Nikolette and Aaliyah sat and then drank.

As the last of them finish drinking he finds a comfortable place to lay down. He raises his cup toward where the sun would be in the sky above and prays. "Aye, Sola watch over us and protect us on our journey here below." Then he takes a drink and lays down
